Best Western Hollywood Plaza Inn Hotel - Hollywood Walk of Fame LA

Honestly location great for Lyft users, close to Universal Studio. I always stay at Best Western and this is the first one I ever encountered without a free continental breakfast. Very disappointing and the water pressure in shower along with the temperature of the water (warm never hot) sucked.

This is my second time staying at this Best Western. Very easy check in process! Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking feels a little tight but also very safe. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Easy access to many attractions in LA. There's a Mexican restaurant/cafe next to the Lobby downstairs and there's also a TGIF inside the hotel nextdoor. There's also a pool and Jacuzzi downstairs that looked very clean but we didn't use it since it was pretty cold outside. I will definitely continue staying at this hotel for any future trips.

The staff was great and responsive. The issue is that the shower was luke warm by design. I dont need to have my skin melted when I shower, but it should atleast get past barely luke warm.

Bad premises to stay in. It is not hotel it is a hostel!

Floors were so dirty in the room. Didnt release it was a motel instead of a hotel. Pictures make this hotel look bigger abd better than it is. Very old, run down, and dirtyy

Road noise but safe and convenient

The rooms are older but were clean and comfortable.

Right off the freeway so it’s near everything. Comfortable rooms.

Near to Universal

It's a basic property with not much too offer. But perfect for sleeping in and then doing touristy stuff.

Easy checkin, was offered discount on parking. The shower water only got warm. Walking distance to the strip, fence around the property. Pool and hot tub were clean. Was easy for uber to pick us up.

Review for Best Western Hollywood I recently stayed at the Best Western in Hollywood during my honeymoon, and while there were many positive aspects to the hotel, I regret to say that the experience fell short due to the excessive noise levels. First, I want to commend the staff for their professionalism and friendliness. They were attentive and accommodating, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, the hotel was impressively clean and well-maintained, which we greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, the noise on the third floor was a significant issue during our stay. Children were running up and down the hallways late into the evening, creating a disturbance that made it nearly impossible to relax. Furthermore, the noise from load in—specifically cars revving their engines—compounded the problem, even with the windows closed. For a property located in such a bustling area, I would strongly recommend management consider better soundproofing measures or policies to maintain quiet hours, especially on higher floors where guests may seek respite from the city’s energy. As this was our honeymoon, we were hoping for a peaceful and restful stay, but unfortunately, we did not get a wink of sleep due to the persistent noise. While the cleanliness and staff were wonderful, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a good night’s sleep. If noise levels are addressed, I believe this hotel could be an excellent option for travelers. However, until improvements are made

Very friendly and clean place

First of all it should not call a hotel,It is worst then a motel.floor is very nasty and filthy.loud sound, small rooms like nasty cabins. Though staff was nice we manage to pass our one night.never ever want to come back and do not recommend for a family.

The hotel was just okay. The noise levels were higher than expected, which made it hard to relax. The facilities were adequate but could use some improvement—they weren’t dirty, but not particularly clean either. On the positive side, the location is very convenient for visiting Universal, which was a big plus.
