The hotel is one of the best examples of giving the feeling of high level design, both authentic architecturally and very thoughtful interior detailing and over-the-top service with very budget-conscious overnight rates.. providing the malibu/Conejo valley one of the best local lodging

We really enjoyed our stay, however, we had to switch rooms after the first night. Our first room only had one working outlet in it and the bathroom door did not lock. We were able to move to the room next to it. Our original room was occupied again later that day so we know the issues were not addressed for the next guests. The food was decent and the pool area was nice. Location was great, easy drive to Malibu, LA, Beverly Hills etc. Would stay again but I hope they fix the issues in that room. Not fair to other guests to spend the money and get a room with an unlockable bathroom and no outlets that work...when management knows about it already.

The rooms are clean; the common areas are clean, the decor is great, and awesome beds and bathrooms are updated. The rooms, bar, restaurant, and outside sitting area are perfect; the pool area is ideal for the hotel, and check-in was seamless. I highly recommend

We have stayed at this hotel twice and have enjoyed it! It’s a great location - easy access to Malibu and LA . The cost is reasonable. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is great.

Easy access to 101 Fwy. Pretty rooms. Pricy breakfast, we went across the street to the gas station for large to-go coffees. It was nice to enjoy the fire pit in the morning and relax. The only snafu we had was minor, but in the elevator and on the TV, they advertise nine dollar margaritas on Tuesday evenings. We went down to enjoy a casual snack and margaritas and they charged us $15. The bartender said sorry they’re $15, not nine dollars. Obviously, we can swing the six dollars but we didn’t appreciate the bait and switch and we called them out on it. The bartender would not budge and we had to speak to someone else about it. They did remove the overcharge eventually. It is also $18 per night to use their parking lot, but you can come and go as you please, it’s not gated. I would not stay here again when in Calabasas, I much prefer the Commons area five minutes down the road where you have access to restaurants and shopping, here you only had three gas stations and a McDonald’s to choose from.
