The staff was some of the friendliest that I encountered while traveling in Alaska. The hotel did not have an elevator, so I opted for a room on the first floor. The airport shuttle was very timely and efficient.

I always enjoy my stay at the Coast they basic rooms nothing fancy but the friendly and welcoming staff makes up for all that and i highly recommend the restaurant at the hotel amazing food and beverages and the staff is jaut as welcoming there as well

Overpriced for a tired motel. It was generally clean but the carpet was old, the threshold from the bathroom floor to the carpeted room had damage, a drawer pull in the bathroom was missing, that type of thing.
As for the airport shuttle, it's difficult to locate because the van only has a piece of paper with the hotel name and it's easy to miss - and the front desk didn't accurately explain where it stops (and one desk clerk was quite rude to me after I waited for 45 minutes at the airport following a 5-minute pick time).

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable. It had all the amenities, refrigerator, microwave ,coffee maker , tv. Also very close to the airport. Two thumbs up!
