Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Lauderdale 17th Street

Amazing location for shopping, dinning, walking, beautiful swimming pool, very friendly and helpful staff, close to the airport.

Unfortunately, my three-night stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Lauderdale 17th Street was disappointing. The room was consistently unclean, and there were no fresh towels in the room upon my arrival. Additionally, room service failed to vacuum the floors properly. The shower water was also lukewarm. I hope these issues can be addressed for future guests.

Very nice hotel. Clean, nice room and friendly staff. Under reconstruction. Construction noise in the morning at 8:30 am made sleeping in a challenge.

It was a good stay. I stay at this particular Embassy often. Its a nice hotel and is in an excellent location.

I think it was a great value. Great breakfast Only issue were not any good tv channels

The stay was "fine". The room was generally clean and the front desk was super friendly. I had an issue with the shower dripping and flooding my bathroom. The breakfast buffet was poorly manned, trays were empty repeatedly. As someone who uses a CPAP, there is not enough power outlets next to the bed.

Construction

Making many renovations…the rooms are beautiful…fully freshened. They are spending lots of money on a total upgrade….highly recommend. Better than it was…much better.

Staffs are professionals - they have an outstanding breakfast- The hotel rooms are beautiful too… In one word , I like the place and will stay there anytime I’ll be in Fort Lauderdale, Fl

Close to shops and the port for my cruise.

The quality of the happy hour and breakfast were shockingly disappointing. Loud construction and dust. Faucets didn’t work properly and there was pop residue in the toilet when we checked in.

This property was beautiful, it looked like you were outside but it was totally covered. The scenery was natural and really a nice lobby. Room was huge and had a separate living room, the ceiling fan was my favorite thing, kept it super cold in there

As I said. Terrible. A nightmare. We were only here a second night stay because of our return from a cruise. It was pre booked and non refundable. Otherwise we would have never stayed again. Avoid this property unless you absolutely have too and no where else to stay.

Absolutely never again! This property was a disaster - non advertised major construction, no pool access, restaurant closing hours ahead of scheduled posted time, front desk staff non welcoming (as if they were bothered), bathrooms in rooms very outdated and average clean, curtains to balconies filthy, and the locks for these doors were literal pins drilled into a wall. It’s a shame because when traveling with kids, family and grandparents this property should be ideal. But with only a few elevators and construction, no pool and a gift shop where the kids are yelled at is insane. Oh lastly, not to mention the random cots in corners of the floors and food boxes too. Just avoid this property if you want quiet (construction from 8am to 4pm and it’s loud).

Clean and neat doing remodeling but still nice Room was good could use a upgrade on shower

We were told that we would be able to check in early the day after coming off our cruise, which turned into us not getting a room until 3:00pm when we were there at 10am (thankful they took our luggage and stored it for us while waiting). We did enjoy that the pool facilities were available to us immediately so we did have somewhere to go while waiting. I gave 2 stars for property because there is a ton of construction going on so much of the property feels dusty and unclean. The music in the building can be heard from inside your room even at 3am so you may want to revisit that. Your coffee in the breakfast area is actually delicious so that was a welcome surprise as most hotel coffee is subpar. The evening happy hour is a bit of a disaster….. way too many people and the bartender(s) seems very overwhelmed. Our group was going to eat in the restaurant and ended up going elsewhere because if they couldn’t keep up with drinks, we didn’t want to even try ordering 15 entrees at once. The valet staff was always in such great spirits and conversed with us every time we were outside. There was one woman in particular who we connected with the most and she was there on Monday, August 19th in the afternoon/evening. Please thank her again for being so kind to our little girl. ❤️

The property itself was very nice. However the rooms need to be updated (carpet furniture)
