Hotek was great, view was great, bar area around the hotel is unsafe and full of sketchy people

The perfume they pump in to the floors is over powering and takes your breath away. Plus it’s not a pleasant smell

Overall it’s a great place to stay for multiple people per room. Suites are a good size. The hotel does need a little make over. Rooms could use an upgrade. We will be back for sure later this year for sporting events.

BathRoom had a leak over the toilet that has been there a while judging by the staining. No resolution or compensation was offered.

The he room was a large, clean and comfortable.

Room is built from high quality materials, solid construction. Room was clean...public spaces (elevator, lobby, entry, buffet) all poorly maintained - dirt and gunk buildup in corners, even the employees are rough around the edges...a little gross. Poorly cleaned and maintained buffet during breakfast due to inexperienced and/or poorly trained staff...gross.

Great place! Will definitely be back.

Disappointed the pool qas closed. Planned to use today till checkout. Place was very nice tho. We would stay again A promo for the no pool would be nice on next stay Thanks

Had a stay-cation here so I’m very familiar with the area, but it was the first time at this hotel. Huge rooms, nice view, but beds were not comfortable. Valet parking for $25, which is perfect because parking downtown can be tricky. Walked to Sheas for a show (6-7 mins away). Lots of dining options for all budgets, Starbucks and Spot coffee 1/2 block away. Hotel has a welcome reception with one free drink for each guest and some snacks, but it was celery and carrots and some dry snacks. Great nightlife with many bars within walking distance.

Excellent stay all around! We had a girls trip with my 11 year old daughters and my mom to go see The Lion King at Sheas. We ate dinner at the restaurant inside the hotel, and it was fantastic. Breakfast was delicious and way better than most hotel breakfasts. We will definitely be back!

The first hotel that I slept good on the first night. Bed was so comfy, valet guys and receptionist was friendly and helpful. The only thing that I don’t like is the shower head. Over all I like the place.

Beautiful hotel with spacious rooms. Perfect location for downtown Buffalo. Amazing restaurant on site (Bella Ciao) Staff is extremely welcoming and kind.

I’ve never rated a hotel a one star, but this is the exception. Although the property is nice, and most staff were helpful, one issue overshadowed my stay. Room 401 is a beautiful executive suite, but particularly at night, the bedroom portion smelled like sewage. The window over looks trash bins and possibly the sewage vent (?), but it really smells terribly. When I called down to report the issue, the night person was not concerned. When I reported it to the supervisor on duty, Erika, she wrote it down as a maintenance issue, but showed no concern. I contacted Expedia the day I checked out and their rep said the would contact the hotel about a refund and grant me one key cash for the inconvenience. However, the hotel denied the refund and Expedia failed to award the one key cash amount initially promised, but provided a significantly lesser amount. Needless to say, I’m not very happy with the resolution to the issue and I’m sure I can’t be the only person who smelled that awful smell in the room.

Good location. Hotel is in need of some Reno’s and touch ups
