Noisy. The bathroom had a drip in the pipes in the wall. We were moved to another room and it had bugs everywhere. After all this there's a 7 am fire drill the entire hotel is outside in pajamas waiting to get back in

the manager on this property was awesome and treated us very well. our door would not open as it should and after struggling with it a few times and me expressing my concerns for my handicapped aunts safety to the other staff the manager was made aware by staff and quickly moved us to another room and comped one of the nights staff.

Location is convenient which is why we stay here annually. We can go to Wilmington or Oak Island, or just around the Southport area pretty easily from this hotel despite pick up traffic and road construction.
The hotels is in pretty good shape, though it might be time for a deep clean in the public spaces and the hallways. Services always friendly and fast. Great Italian restaurant in the parking lot,
The only downside seems to be strange renovations to the bathrooms. It may not be all rooms because I know we’ve had rooms with a standard sliding shower door and normal size sink height. Every now and then, including this last visit, will get one of the bathrooms that has a door that pushes awkwardly in, off center shower handle so you push door in & reach way over & get blasted with cold water when first turning on shower. It’s annoying at most & messier than it needs to be.
Otherwise hotel is fine.
