The property itself is excellent, new and clean. The area around the property is a little sketchy at night, but the good thing is, subway stations are only a 10 min walk at most, so transportation is fairly convenient.

Communication was terrible across the board. Payment process was questionable, and for a moment I was concerned about identity theft. Upon arrival, I quickly discovered that the bed frame was broken (which we fixed in order to sit and sleep comfortably), the blinds were broken and we were unable to pull them up (which we also fixed so we could see out the window). There were also no fixtures available to hang hand towels or bath towels in the bathroom. While it was clean, there was little attention paid to the entirety of the space, and we found used water bottles on the floor, underneath the dresser. In general, very disappointed. The photos displayed seem to be of the building next door, which I consider to be unfair and extremely false advertising.

Unfortunately the hotel room did not match description. Booked it for two nights, but from how disgusted we were only stayed there for one. The bedsheets seemed clean and water pressure was nice, but other than that I did not enjoy my stay. The silicon in the shower was moldy, the bed frame was dirty and gross, the room had a smell when we came into it, side lamps were dirty and so on. They have no front desk staff. And the stay is non-refundable even if you get their insurance like I did:( better to pay the extra $200 and stay somewhere where you will enjoy your trip.

First off the room walls was so chipped!!! The bed frame so dirty. The fire alarm went off all night no 1 responded. I called no 1 answer the call. Outside so dirty!! They said no smoking & that was a lie. Smelled like smoke & messed with my sinuses. I will never stay here again! Worst room I ever stayed in!!!!

Fire alarm.went off twice in less than 12 hour period ....people on the flopr fighting and screaming in the hallway. Door code didn't work and had to call in. No bag drop for a place that you need to check in at 4pm

It's not the first time I've stayed in an international luxury hotel. But this time it was a communication disaster. I spent 15 minutes outside my room door because the password I'd been given wasn't up to date, and I immediately sent a few emails that went unanswered. A neighbour had to call assistance to help me because I didn't have a US SIM card. I wanted to extend my stay, but this wasn't possible, even though I had replied to their email the day before saying I wanted to extend my stay, which was not answered. I was kicked out because another person was moving into the flat. It was not a good experience and I would not want to stay in these flats again.

A terrible option that I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. The entire apartment reeked of marijuana; the shower was wet (despite us checking in at 11pm meaning no one should have been in the apartment the preceding 7 hours); the blinds weren’t even remotely thick enough to block the light from the freeway and the building’s exterior lights; and it was not sound-proofed in any way—we heard the freeway and the people in the lobby area the entire night. Will certainly not be using hotels.com again if this isn’t addressed in some way—an absolutely horrible experience (for a very high price).

Honestly I booked without doing deep research, was nervous after the fact but went thru with it. We stayed three nights, had no problems checking in our code worked every time, it was very clean and spacious. Clean towels and a little bag of toiletries were included. We felt safe the doors were locked to the lobby unless you had a code. Our room looked just like pictures! Easy commute to the city. Definitely would stay here again.

I was there for a 4-night stay for the World Series at Yankee Stadium Pros: Excellent communication/instructions, room was comfortable & sufficient, bed very comfortable, lots of closet/drawer space, bathroom remodeled nicely, very good gym, 20-30 min walk to Yankee Stadium which was very convenient Cons: Room shades/blinds were dirty & broken unfortunately (I like natural light but unable to open), balcony was locked (I think for safety reasons but still a bummer for the extra room type cost), 138th subway station is 10 min walk away (I was fine doing the walk as a solo male at night, but I could see others being a little concerned/unsafe)
