Hilton Garden Inn Jackson Downtown

Bedding was clean and fresh. Floor seemed clean. Shower floor grout had stains. Things seemed a little run down. We were exited about the hot tub and specifically asked about the hours of the pool & hot tub upon checking in. The attendant didn’t tell us the hot tub was not operational. We discovered it had cold water and no jets after changing clothes and making our way down to the pool area. We called several times. The attendant finally answered to say it was broken. This was one of the main reasons we booked here.

The room was in terrible shape for a Hilton property. No bed skirt, bathroom supplies were not restocked or refilled, walls need repainting, grease finger prints on all of the wood and surfaces and window. Room was put together as an afterthought. The lobby is beautiful and clean. The rooms are horrible conditions. The breakfast terrible and low budget.

Did provide clean towels next day unless renter request clean of second or thrid day. Room temperature could not be adjusted for comfort felt cold in room. Extra charge $50. For what ?

Cleanliness wasn’t an issue , the AC/heat didn’t work , the TV may have worked but you couldn’t watch because it no Signal to be able to watch . And with all the lights/lamps in the room and it was still very dimly lit. YES there were windows , but we had not ac/or heat and the temps dropped to the 20’s- so we kept the blinds pulled down.

The hotel is beautiful!! However, there is nothing around this area.

Hotel is straight trash. Stayed in a room where the bathroom had pink mold in the tub.

The hotel had only ONE person managing the front desk. The machine the creates the electronic card keys was NOT working, so, every time we needed to enter our room, the front desk person had to leave the front desk lobby and escort us to our room. Pitiful and dangerous. I expect more from a Hilton. Also, the room had dings and scrapes and obviously was not well maintained. Not happy experience.

My bathroom was unclean at check-in time. I called down to the front desk 3 times about it and third time I was told there was nothing that could be done until housekeeping comes in the next morning. I was traveling with a newborn, and I was told that they were unable to bring me towels to the room and that I had to go to the lobby to get them. I was able to Clorox down my bathroom until I saw bloody tissue in the shower. At checkout, the hotel manager tried to help however, I feel there is much more that needs to be done to correct the situation. Historically, this is a very nice hotel which I have been staying in often upon visiting my alma mater- Jackson State and my family over the years. I hope to see this hotel turn its service around to be a little more professional and accommodating to it guests.

Charged credit card by items that weren’t purchased.

The pool needed a good cleaning and probably should have pest control sent out to spray for bugs. The hot tub was broken even after I had called a day before to check and make sure it was working bc this was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. Room was decent and blackout curtains were nice and we slept well, but cleaning crew needs to be more thorough bc we found used food container under the edge of the bed. Yuck!!

My experience was not great , i didn’t get the room i was originally supposed to get because the door was broken so i was switched to another room that was super small, the closest door was broken, the shower had mold on the inside and the only thing they did was give complimentary breakfast which was very limited i will never stay here again

I had a great stay. Staff members were friendly and professional. Just need to work on the restaurant. Food was subpar.

Everything was great. It's a beautiful hotel, staff and valet were friendly and getting checked in and out was easy.

The TVs didn’t work at all!! Shower wasn’t clean good! I’LL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!!

Ice machine was broken Sink faucet in room was not placed correctly

Besides my original room not being clean at all. Maybe it was a honest mistake to assign me that room. Once given a clean room it was clean besides under the bed there was an empty soda bottle

I was not aware that breakfast is not included even though I paid for breakfast through my third party reservation. Also breakfast was $17 tip not included. Nothing Special, same ole hotel breakfast of powdered eggs and greasy bacon.

It was great. I didn’t care for the people work in the restaurant. They did not give good service to the few customers that was in there Sunday morning.
