Holiday Inn Express CORVALLIS-ON THE RIVER, an IHG Hotel

Nice, clean hotel! The evening front desk attendant was very friendly and efficient. Having fresh cookies made in the evening was a treat!

Only place I like to stay in Corvallis.

This is one of my favorite properties so I was very disappointed in the response and condition. Our room was generally great. However when going to take a shower late at night turning on the water a shower of sugar ants came pouring out of the faucet. Ants all over the tub. In going to the desk to ask for assistance I was met with indifference. There was nothing they could do as there was no maintenance on staff. There was no apologies or efforts to correct. They said we could move to one smaller bed/room that was available on the other side of the hotel, however it was 11pm and that was not ideal. When checking out I mentioned the situation and again was met with indifference. It is a shame because I do really like this hotel and we do travel here a lot with two children at OSU. However there was no effort to try to fix anything or make it right in any way. More of a shoulder shrug and what do you want me to do attitude.

Stayed here for one night and it was great. Very clean and room was comfortable. Breakfast was convenient with lots of options.

Excellent breakfast! So many times I skip breakfast at hotels, but this one was more than passable, with options for many dietary needs. Rooms were clean, hotel was quiet, even being on a main road in Corvallis.

Room was super clean. The only negative was all of the homeless people around. There was tents in the river park right behind and tents in the lot next door. Concerning to walk out with your kids and you have a man speaking crazy right by the door.

Staff was super friendly. Room was clean and comfy. The unfortunate part was the noise. There were earplugs left on the nightstand for us ( super kind gesture), but 1st clue it was going to be noisy. All nigh I could hear the people upstairs, in the hallway, and outside (walls are thin I guess). We were in a room above the entrance and the doors slamming from unloading and checking in, the “ding ding” of the cars when they leave their keys in and the doors open, all were pretty constant late at night and early in the morning. Also, there were a large amount of homeless right around the property ( didn’t bother us, but was definitely noticeable).

This hotel allowed us to be in walking distance of downtown Corvallis. We were able to locate several of our old hang outs. We will stay here again next time we visit this area.

First time here and it was great. Newly renovated and it had everything we needed for a quick stay. Had a corner room so great views of the river all around. Breakfast was a bonus too.

The location on the river is great but there is a mold problem. Every day we got back to the room, it smelled musty despite the AC being left on. One person in our group had itchy eyes and sinus issues as soon as they walked in. Another person broke out in hives and a third had headaches. The staff are great and the view of the river is nice but anyone with respiratory issues should be careful.

Our room was ready when we arrived. Checking in & out was a breeze. The rooma wetr were clean, the veiw of the river wsd amazing. The staff in the lobby recommended several places to eat.

Staff is very friendly. Most of the time someone wasnt at the desk but once I walked up they would walk right out. They were all very kind. Space is clean. Lots of parking options.
