I have yet to be disappointed in a Holiday Inn Express stay. I can go to HIE and know that breakfast will be better than most hotels.

The girl at the front desk when we came in was very nice.The room was not the room I ordered it was a handicap room it was small and cold in the bathroom and the bedroom was cold too we were very disappointed.

The staff checking us in was very friendly and we were greeted with come chocolates in our room. However, Our room was right by the breakfast area so we could hear the doors opening and closing early in the morning and there was an on and off ringing noise going off in the bathroom that kept waking us up all through the night (room 126). Even with the bathroom door closed we could still hear it. We were so exhausted after arriving late the last thing we wanted to do was move all of our stuff to another room.

For the most part it was ok. The tub was not so clean and neither was the comforter. Breakfast was good the first day. The second day not enough was out there. Too much money for the stay

We always stay here because it is close to the Danville Casino. The breakfast is free and delicious. The setting along the river is attractive and provides a nice walk.

I found that hotels assign book thur Expedia are assigned the most undesirable rooms. For this stay our room was next to the laundry and across from the breakfast room. Very noisy. Room also had a irrating whistle every so often night and day. I will no longer be booking stays thur Expedia.
