We have stayed at this Holiday Inn many times as we travel from Ohio to Maryland. It is always clean and it is so convenient to the turnpike. It's literally at the exit/entry ramp. The breakfast is very good too. They are in the process of updating the rooms which is all good. HI maintains this hotel very well.

The facilities maintenance staff needs to keep up:
1. Whoever caulked the seams in the shower failed
2. The sink in the room drains too slowly
3. The elevator’s button light for the fourth floor is still out. We stayed here months ago.
The staff overseeing the breakfast area was outstanding again! Thank you!
The bed was very comfortable.

The furniture in the room was laminate wood and there were several areas where to top layer was broken. The mattress was way too soft. There was a plastic chair and ottoman; the arms of the chair was peeling. In addition the toilet was meant for a toddler, so low to the ground. The price difference of that toilet and a standard toilet is not too great, they should be changed. I had two back surgeries to relieve compressed spinal cord; it made it difficult to rise from the toilet.

The accessible room was pathetic, as if the designer had no idea about an end user’s needs, especially the shower area. Sad. The breakfast was repulsive and the same processed food all chains serve in America. Holiday Inn should be a leader in the industry but it appears to be falling well behind others like Hampton and Quinta.
