Ibis Bay Beach Resort

Rooms too small for amount of money we paid for. Had aunts and bugs come out of crackes in walls and ceiling . Shower to small and no pressure in shower.

Fun amenities and cute beach. Shuttle is nice option because it’s a ways from duval street and little parking available.

The receptionist lady needs to be trained with customers service management skills. We had to wait about 20 min to get service and check in. While she was on the phone arguing with another customer about a reservation she couldn't fix. She couldn't perfectly put that customer on hold and took care of my reservation that was already paid for. She just let us waited there hearing all the story about if that customer better booked directly with them instead of using a third party they won't have that issue! After all that time, she couldn't help that customer and we after driving 5hrs to get there at 9pm exhausted had to wait to get our rooms. Then she couldn't gave us a near by rooms, she said they different beds. But I book 2 of exactly the same rooms! Anyway we ended 1 room around the reception and the other 2 building away! Then after all that I asked if we could have a little bit of extra time for check out (check out was 11am) considering breakfast was between 8-10 and there we were waiting to get our rooms after 9pm. She said, NO! We're pretty full. Terrible service and altitude. It wasn't because we were so tired, we were about to leave and look for another place. Now the bed was so squeaky that every time I turned, I woke up. The entrance door hardly close. (this wasn't the room booked online with Hotels.com) The outside door light illuminate the room through the blind!They don't have assign carpark near your room,I had to park half the way down & carried the bags.

Good location, near supermarket, not far from downtown, hotel have shuttle bus to downtown every hour from 8am-10pm, breakfast is tasty, not many items but good quality, room is clean, comfortable, very enjoy the stay

Continental breakfast and restaurant were fine! 4 pm checkin was very late and staff at checkin were preoccupied. Also our room did not get cleaned one day.

Check-in was very slow, spent in the around 1 hr

To start off when we checked in the lady at the counter was not friendly at all. She then took a photo of my Driver’s License and left it on the copier. Luckily a day later I realized it was gone and called the front desk. It was still on the copier with no apology. The room is old and musty smelling. The shower floor was so overused it was worn through, not to mention it was the smallest shower ever. It was not very clean and there was a large gap at the bottom and side of the door. Rodents easily could get in. I would not recommend this hotel. The cost is very expensive for what it is. The only saving grace is that there is a free shuttle to Duval street. Also the pool is decent.

Don’t stay here. Cleaning staff were rude, partied in a room beside us, 11:45 until it was 5 and time to go home. Not sure why one in particular kept staring at us across the parking lot…creepy!!! Would have said something, but could only imagine our vehicle getting keyed. Patio covered in black ants at night . No one seemed to be able to check in on time…not surprised, cleaning staff incredibly lazy and took forever to clean. No coffee machine, no microwave, no where to place toiletries in the washroom. Blood on “clean” towels. Others didn’t like the breakfast..it wasn’t much, but ok. Shuttle service ok, but when finally getting an English speaking person, he had to tell us how his hookers come to his house ***Hey Expedia, you should be careful what you promote. We took the hit and left early….still waiting for confirmation we did so. I don’t suppose you’ll offer a refund …we were supposed to be 9 nights, managed for 5. The beach…good luck getting into the stagnant water…lots of rocks. Maybe it was better over by the restaurant and shark feeding. Bed uncomfortable. I think there was about 1.5’ between the bed and patio door..btw, the door locked with an aluminum type bar. Best part was meeting two from Kentucky, they made it somewhat bearable.

On the water. Off major highway with shopping centers. Must have been a big hit ín the 1970s.

I rented for the hot tub. No hot water. Also no regular tv to watch the nfl playoff games. No games on in bar wither

Good location and 2 mile bike friendly via paved sidewalks to downtown Key West. Only complete is loud air conditioning units.

The pool was nice but the rooms were very small. Also was able to hear the people next door easily The bathroom was tiny. Our deadbolt would only work if the door wasn’t closed all the way so we couldn’t ever close our door. Breakfast was convenient but it was the same thing every day

This place was quite a surprise. We were in the back building by the water, and it was very quiet. Unlike many of the other places which were on the other side of the four-lane highway, this place was removed far enough that you did not hear any traffic. The breakfast was quite good and many options to choose from. The grounds are meticulous. Some of the reviews mentioned, loud air conditioners, and we did not find that to be the case at all. I would come back here in a heartbeat.
