Awesome at the time, the staff would awesome even at a less convenient time like 3am in the morning, had problem with the key card and the front office personnel help me on the spot.

I will assume the upkeep and style cater to the fact that it’s specific to people flying in/out of Sky Harbor. Fridge may have been on a low setting, microwave did not work at all, TV wouldn’t turn on. Even though all items were plugged into poorly managed multi outlet adapters. Coffee maker did not work. I would suggest the check those inspect them, and change those adapters, kind of felt like a fire hazard.Overall, for one night stay the bed was clean nice, pillows didn’t suit me, but I was still able to sleep.

The person checking me in was racist and kept talking about people and her coworkers to her coworkers based on the color of their skin. Initially she said there was no room for me, which took her 20 minutes to sort out me reservation. The room wasn't ready at check in time, in fact it took an hour. Half of the lights in the room didn't work. It was a suite, but didn't have coffe and tea in the room. No glasses. The set up was odd, kitchen stuff in the bedroom. Very poorly designed. Laundry wasn't available, equipment was broken. Elevator was half apart. Staff didn't know the layout. Every little thing had extra costs. Shuttle to the airport costs extra. The best thing was that it was clean.

New owner, 2 -years ago. Rooms are very dated. Lumpy bed. TV did not work. Pictures falling off the walls. Learned from shuttle drive (with them for 20+ years), that new owners have cut Health Care, Insurance, Hours - You can tell in the vibe of this rat hole. Spend an extra few bucks and stay someplace else. I thought since its close to the airport -- why not. La Quinta locations were always decent, well priced. Not this one folks.

Hair & stains on sheets,cases not changed, blood stained pillow. 2:45 am doors wide open, no one at counter. Spoke to AM manager and showed pillows-Cici Alveraze embarrassed. Short staff doesn't explain putting or not removing filth on beds! Call Expedia for refund only to be cut off multiple times. After a 2 1/2 hour flight delay from Portland,OR , this was totally unacceptable. Certainly not LQ quaility!
