This is a safe, clean, small (I assume family-run) hotel in Des Moines, WA near the sound. Although it is not fancy or new, we have had good experiences staying in this quiet area not far from the airport. You can walk to the water and there are many good food options nearby. The price is reasonable and we find it to be a great deal. The halls are not carpeted, so you may hear noise from them and might want to bring earplugs or something if you are a light sleeper. I would ask for a room farther down from other guests.

Would stay here again. Quiet neighbourhood, close to a marina, clean, comfortable, felt safe, good continental breakfast, inexpensive, older building but well maintained. Staff was helpful and friendly.

It’s great for the price and super close to the water. A little bit sketchy but not terrible. Would probably stay again tbh. Mostly clean and the continental breakfast actually had waffles (most have shifted over to just cereals and stale bread so that was a pleasant surprise)

Didn't much like the housekeeping coming around and knocking on the door before check out time. Also, the bathroom sink was very slow draining. Otherwise, my stay was ok.

Clean for the most part, but did find hair on sink and vents were dirty. Continental breakfast not worth anything, old bananas and coffee out already at 830a. Comfortable room but a bit outdated. We had friendly check in, not as friendly with check out.

Check in was quick, area is a bit hard to find. Room had dated furniture and the phone in the room was caked with crud on it so didn’t touch it.
When we left this morning the side door was cracked like someone threw something at it or kicked it

Marina Inn is a nice alternative to the more expensive airport hotel. There are several restaurants options close by. The marina and beach park are a few blocks away but has nice walking path and beautiful views.
