Placemakr Marymount Ballston

It was a very nice room (apartment). There was a very loud group on our floor one night and I don't think the front desk was very helpful to manage that. Otherwise, we had a great stay. The location was very close to lots of restaurants and just 3 blocks from the Metro. It felt very safe. The bed wasn't super comfy but not bad. We will definitely stay here again.

I like that Placemakr is really a nice apartment. It is quiet, safe and the accommodations are excellent! I have stayed there about 4 times and will definitely stay there again! Very nice!!!! 👌

Placemkr was great. The room we stayed in was spacious and well appointed. It had a full kitchen and washer / dryer. There were two negatives. One is the parking garage. We werent given a code, so we had to call to figure out what to do. We blocked traffic while the front desk opened the door for us. The second negative was partying. The staff allowed apartment stayers to party till 4am three of the four nights we were there. Loud, screaming, drunk partying.

It was very comfortable, a true home like feel away from. Not friendly to smokers & no pook. Otherwise 10 oit of 10.

When I checked in to my room, it was not up to par and had a weird smell like something was burning. When I informed the front desk Receptionist Erica- she took care of it right away! She even upgraded my room! Give her a raise! Great customer service!!

Every time that I visit I know that I'm in good hands, especially when Erica is at the Reception desk! She's customer obsessed and it shows!

Amazing experience over all! Loved our stay, hosts were gracious and accommodating. Space looks amazing and our views were excellent. Very modern, sleek. We loved everything and will be back in the near future!

Nice accommodations and staff

frustration and disappointment with the lack of assistance I received during my recent stay. On the night of May 17 at approximately 10:30 PM, I contacted the front desk to report that the dryer in my room was not functioning. I had already completed my laundry and needed to dry my clothes in preparation for work early the next morning at 6:00 AM. Despite explaining the urgency of the situation, I was informed that there was nothing that could be done and that maintenance would not be available until the morning—at which point I would already be checking out. This response was not only unhelpful but entirely unacceptable, especially considering that I was aware there were other rooms available on the property. I suggested being allowed access to a dryer in one of these rooms simply to resolve the issue, yet this reasonable request was denied without any attempt to find an alternative solution. This situation reflects a serious lack of problem-solving and customer service training. As a paying guest, I expected a minimum standard of support, particularly for such a basic amenity that directly impacted my ability to prepare for work. Due to the complete lack of resolution and disregard for my circumstances, I will be disputing the charges for this stay with my credit card company. I am extremely disappointed by the way this matter was handled and hope that this feedback is taken seriously so no other guest has to experience the same.

Everything was so beautiful and nice. I loved my stay and so did my friends that were with me.

Great location with basic amenities. If you’re looking for a standard hotel then this is it. Far from luxurious, its Furniture and fixtures are low in quality but if that doesn’t matter to you, then this hotel is adequate.

sink stinky, the water in the shower was cold for 4 straight days. We complained but never got the water temperature upto the satisfaction. No lights in the living room and the toilet flush did not work on day 1.

The room had a mildew smell

I had a great time here! It was perfect for a short weekend stay. I'll definitely be back. 😊
