This Red Lion in Coos Bay Ore has always and still is AWESOME. Very quiet even on highway. Close to down town, on the bay, Starbucks and Coos Bay Museum ( very nice ) across the street. Close to Mill Casino and Pancake Mill. I believe nicest hotel in Coos Bay.

THIS PROPERTY IS LISTED AS A "HOTEL" BUT IS CLEARLY A "MOTEL" AND WE WOULD HAVE NEVER BOOKED IT KNOWING THIS AND EXPEDIA DESCRIPTON NEEDS TO BE CLEAR ON DIFFERNCE BETWEEN A HOTEL AND MOTEL. SECONDLY, THE WAS A "PRE" NEW YEARS' PARTY AND THE MUSIC AND BASS KEPT MY WIFE AWAKE MULTIPLE TIMES.

No hot water and carpet in from of window and AC was soaking wet. Numerous others staying at the hotel also had no water as we were there for a wrestling event.

My wife and I drive in for a wrestling tournament and wanted to shower before bed, unfortunately there was zero hot water. This was quite disappointing but coupled with the overall poor condition of the room this was a stay I will try to forget. When checking out I requested a discount for the inconvenience was told that they would need to consult their manager and took my email. I have zero confidence that anything will happen.

Room was dirty and run down. Glass on floor surgical cap for needles twice old ranch in fridge coffee pot left on . No towels in room . Reservation lost. Very nice staff just over working will l go back?

Truly the main issues was the door was damaged and would get stuck. Had to have someone in at all times to let us back in or we had to use considerable force. The showers in the morning were either freezing cold or at best luke warm.

Red Lion is pretty dated but there are limited options around here and not a great area. Room had trash on the floor and carpet definitely hadn’t been vacuumed

Our room was clean but we had no working heat. I called the front desk to request help and no one answered so I had to drove to the lobby. They changed us to a different room with heat but the TV didn’t work. I’m too tired to change rooms again.
