I didn’t know of this hotel, but came across it on the site and decided to book. Was so impressed with this hotel, right from the start - a very attractive lobby, friendly and helpful front desk staff, and a lovely room … perfectly clean and one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve experienced in a long time. I would not hesitate to stay here again and to give the Romer top recommendations.

The moment my Lyft dropped me off, I noticed the beautiful well cared for plants outside & in the lobby. I loved the artworks throughout also. My room was spacious & comfortable. Special shout out to the housekeeping department! My room was kept spotless & well stocked. The hotel is within EASY walking distance of everything I wanted to do, and there was a subway stop across the street for when I wanted to go farther afield. The only complaint I could make ( and that was no deal breaker) was that there was no iron in the room or coffee maker. But you know what? Coffee was readily available nearby, and no one looked at me twice in my wrinkled shirt— even at the opera. So there you go.

A perfect location and a wonderful experience. The staff were so helpful and kind. The hotel is well kept and very centrally located. The parking was in the same building and affordable (for NYC). We would definitely stay there again.

The perfect home base to explore the theatre district of nyc! Also a great central location to jump into all New York has to offer. Close to transit, an easy walk to Times Square, moma, Central Park, the met, Guggenheim, etc. the real stars of this show though are the staff. Everyone from the front desk to the door staff to housekeeping. They are so kind and helpful and really made my stay special.

The room was a nice size for a NYC hotel room, the view was nice, it was surprisingly quiet. We were there in Jan and the room temperature was great and easily controlled. The bathroom had an actual walk in shower instead of a shower tub, which is a huge plus. We were pleasantly surprised at the lobby, which is very nicely designed, the front desk staff was helpful and kind and the security was great in the building, we felt very safe. The price was good because it was January, but I think it's a pretty good value and in line with other mid-priced (yeah, I know) hotels in the area.

We stayed here many times when it was under a different name. While the hallways and furniture have been refreshed, they no longer include coffee makers or free coffee/cocoa service in the lobby. When we came back late on a super cold night, we were told to go back out to buy a hot drink. Also, the bed frame corners will trash your shins!

Great stay with my son for his birthday. Really nice vibe and feel to the hotel. Clean rooms. Comfy beds. The staff is phenomenal. They went out of their way to put together a bag of birthday treats for my son including a hand written card and spiderman balloon. A great surprise for him. The cafe is underwhelming, but there are good food options nearby with a Starbucks and Dunkin on each side of the hotel. Would certainly stay again.

My family enjoyed a lovely stay at Romer Hell's Kitchen hotel. The hotel is funky and spacious with a lot of room to lounge in the lobby area. The rooms are clean and cool and comfortable. The staff is knowledgeable and kind and exceedingly helpful. The location cannot be beat. Walkable to Times Square and Broadway and a ton of restaurants and MoMa, etc, etc.

Bed was very comfortable. Plenty of towels. Hot water without issue. Room temp was great. As quiet as you could expect it to be. Wish there was a coffeemaker in the room, but the cafe in the lobby served great coffee at very reasonable price especially for NYC. The lobby area is great to just sit and relax. Check in and check out easy, and friendly staff. Would stay here again next time we come to see a show.
