It’s a very beautiful property. Definitely a family-oriented place so if you’re looking for quiet romantic adult time, you won’t find it here. It’s also way touristy and constantly active. The lines and wait time to check in and out were ridiculous if you’re a regular person and don’t have their silver, gold, titanium or other precious metal membership. The wait time to get your bags sent up was also crazy. The room itself was nice. It was a little weird to have the sink almost practically in the middle of the room which made it nearly impossible to continue sleeping while my mate washed their hands or brushed their teeth. The view out the balcony was okay if you don’t mind being above the vent fans and overlooking garages. Needless to say, it left much to be desired. Luckily we were too busy doing activities to spend a lot of time in the room.

My third stay at the Sheraton Waikiki and it was great. Friendly staff at front desk and restaurant, large room with balcony, housekeeping staff always greeting me in hallways. Very good value for the location. Only downside was too many people in lobby/pool/elevators (week between Christmas and New Year). Better to stay here during slower times.

We were sent to wrong room and we had to go downstairs with luggage and change rooms. No bell boys, no room service available and after spending $960 a night they even added $63 a day for resort fees. Water in kids pool not heated and many kids were sick. Very busy and the resort can not accommodate all customers. We had to pay $100 a day for umbrella and chairs on beach. Exorbitant fees just not worth it. Lobby area was like very busy shopping mall. The positives are employees try their best and good location. I’ve stayed at many Sheraton resorts and this one didn’t hold up to the others which were half this price.

Great location. To get a beach chair must be down by 7:30am. They say they clear stuff left before 8am, but that isn’t true. No umbrellas around the poll, except for 4 at adult pool (first chair to go each morning). Food options around pool suck. RumFire’s food is not good.

We definitely expected a lot better from Sheraton. The room was smelly. We were a party of 5 and definitely the room is not suitable for 5.
The location, the pool areas and access to beach are the big plus points but other than that its average.

This is the 1st resort I have stayed at that doesn’t have room service. Plus it was not highlighted at the time I booked. If it had I would have stayed somewhere else. The concierge was dismissive and did not help me.

Positives: 11 elevators, friendly staff, full gym open 24 hours. Walkable to a lot of restaurants and shops.
Negatives: I was told to scan QR codes to find out any information when I checked in. It was a rush check in. Parking fee and resort fees are very high. The pool is small, crowded and only has sun for the first half of the day.
If you plan on renting a car and driving around the island to see the sights, I suggest you don’t stay here. It is extremely overpriced and I regret booking it. For reference, I came hear with my 10 and 3 year old boys. We rented a car and every day we were going somewhere.

While I truly appreciated the location and the convenience of being close to both great food and the beach, there were a couple of issues that impacted my experience.
Upon checking in, I was surprised by the lack of warmth and friendliness from the staff. Unlike my experiences at the other two hotels I stayed at in Hawaii, the staff member at check-in seemed distant and impatient, despite me not having any questions or concerns at that moment. A welcoming attitude would have been much appreciated.
Additionally, I discovered a dark red spot on the bedsheet. While it appeared to have been washed, the stain was still noticeable and made me feel uncomfortable. By the time I noticed it, I was too tired to contact room service, but I felt it was an issue worth noting.
On a positive note, the staff during checkout was incredibly friendly, and I also appreciated the bellman’s assistance with luggage storage. Their kindness and helpfulness made up for some of the earlier experience.

Best hotel we’ve stayed in Honolulu so far. The pool area is excellent and the location can’t be beat. The gym needs updating. It’s way too packed in there and there are no windows… step up your gym game and your hotel will level up big time!
