Sonesta ES Suites Atlanta Kennesaw Town Center

My stay at this location was ok. I didn’t realize it was was refurbished hotel. It was nice and clean, but was a very older building.

We will definitely stay here again. Awesome front desk. Good breakfast including pancakes, eggs, sausages as well a fruit, bagels, muffins and of course hot cocoa, tea, and coffee.

The front clerk was not personable The building door to the room; handle was broken off The lights in the parking lot did not work

Great location

Breakfast options were good. We liked the fireplace in our suite. The suite could have been cleaned better. Not accustomed to having to go outside of housing building to get to front desk and breakfast.

Two beds were falsely advertised as "king size" - in reality they were 67 instead of 76 inches wide. The double sofa bed was short and bumpy. The room was next to the entrance, the entrance door slammed loudly and woke me up not once.

Our room was not cleaned very well. In the closet by the front door there was a bag of rotting grapes and an old stuffed animal. The over all property seemed outdated but clean. The extra blanket and sheets for the pull out couch were not in a sealed bag. Overall it was ok.

I checked in on Monday, 12/23 and noticed my room door didn't shut completely. Had to report it 3 times before it was addressed on 12/26. Couldn't fix it so I was moved to room next door which was fine. I know it was Christmas but there was no communication from the hotel to me until I talked to the manager, who was very nice. Everything else was great.

Check in process was very smooth and staff was super friendly. Room was absolutely clean and comfortable.

In town for a soccer tournament and needed space for everyone to spread out. The rooms were nicely sized. Beds were not very comfortable (to us) - quite firmer than we are used to. The pillows were very cheap and thin. It felt a little dated, but we were happy enough and it served our needs well. We did not try the free breakfast although it looked OK. We visited in the winter so did not experience the pool area. Biggest complaint was having to walk outside from our building to get coffee in the morning.

The room and location was nice. Wasn’t aware of $6 per day parking. And the mattress on the pull out couch was awful. Other than that I would recommend this property.

Great hotel

I was pleasantly surprised!! Im not sure where the negative reviews came from but not one of them held true for my stay. I came in thinking "you get what you pay for" but we got so much more! Honestly, it exceeded our expectations.

Happy to have a very clean and inexpensive room for the night while we were traveling.

This property is a more of an extended stay place. The rooms are not connected to the lobby and you have to go outside to access lobby. Actually, we found it kind of scary. We were charged for parking, $6.00 a day. That was not mentioned nor was the $100.00 "essential fee." The charges were mentioned after the reservations were made. A list of hotel policies were mailed after the fact. The 112.00 that we paid in excess of the room rate put this motel up past what is charged at a much nicer place. The place was clean but it was like a band aid had been put on a sore. Outside was dark and several of the doors were locked with notices on them. Will not stay here again. Did not feel safe, was overcharged and other vehicles did not have the parking pass in the window. The desk clerk did not mention the parking cost After seeing the strict policy rules sent (after we made reservations) we thought it important to ask. Maybe other guests did not. Stay at the Hilton or Hampton Inn, Much nicer and cost no more (or even less) in the long run. The breakfast looked ok for a hotel breakfast. Staff was not very friendly but only saw the young woman that checked us in. One other issue was the counter at check in. The counter was .quite dirty. Had probably not been cleaned and disinfected in a very long time. Patiently awaiting for my 100.00 "essential fee" to be put back on my credit card. Probably won't be from the looks of the place!
