They are accomodating. They may not have pool or any restaurant but i still keep on coming back to this place bec the staff are easy to talk to. Commendation to Kimberly.

Absolutely fantastic. Friendly, helpful staff who went out of their way and put me on the quiet side of the building. Superb space, beautiful view. To note, as is the case with many hotels, the walls are thin so if there are people in the next room, particularly with kids, you will get some noise. Not an issue at all, just something to note if you're looking for silence. Would absolutely go back!

I traveled alone with my dog 12/28. Such an amazing location. Everything about the hotel was beautiful. The City was only a 15 minute drive. I would definitely stay here again!

Had to request turn down service and even after requesting it was a split chance of getting it done, very limited support or staffing agents.

Quiet and safe

Nice, large clean room with a beautiful view of the Bay. Two very comfortable queen beds, nice size television and a work desk. My main complaint was the coffee maker in the room. Very cheap plastic maker that barely worked. I went to the front desk to ask for another and I was told housekeeping would bring one up. Never it. Second complaint was the lack of security. The door from the patio leading to the outdoors on the Bay did not close properly leaving it mostly unlocked (unless someone made an effort to do so. The door leading from the same area to the inside of the hotel also did not close properly and also was unlocked most of the time. Front desk was very helpful and friendly. I would definently stay there again. The price was way below neighboring hotels and this one was ALMOST exceptional in comfort and location.

The property itself was modern and well kept. Our room was clean and had a nice smell to it. Beds and pillows were comfy. We had a view over the water but the boats we could see were filled with trash. Industrial area so no dining choices. Shuttle was convenient to airport. They charge for parking.

Not worth the cost, although my trip was paid for. No breakfast on offer, not very helpful staff, way to expensive for what was offered. There's several hotels in that area I'd give another one a try the next time I'm in SSF.

This was my 2nd time staying at this property. The first time, I was given a newly renovated room which was very nice. The elevators are slow, just an FYI. This second time the room I was give had the furniture looking ragged (material tearing and tattered), the bathroom has stains on the walls. The toilet had stains, the bathtub wasn’t sparkling; that might be more of a personal preference but in my opinion, the bathtub/shower and beds are the most importantly elements of a hotel room and should therefore be the cleanest. The floor felt gritty. The room smelled like mildew/damp when it rained. I was on the 1st floor so I had to keep the dark curtains closed - which had patches of material missing. In the mornings the sun would shine thru and it just looked ghetto. The property itself is fine and in a great quiet location but this 2nd visit room was not good. There were many times I contemplated on going to the front desk and asking to switch rooms but honestly I was in town for 2-weeks for work and I had grossly large and heavy suitcases and didn’t want to have to drag them to move rooms. I arrived at night so the first night I barely noticed anything but the 2nd night and the 3rd night were most definitely questionable. If I hadn’t been doing manual work and wasn’t exhausted from my day to day, I probably would have asked for a room change. I have myself to blame for not asking for a room change but also I don’t think they should have rooms in this condition.

The hotel has been beautifully remodeled. The staff always pleasant and helpful. Ive had several visits to this location and all have been wonderful...The Sonesta is my preferred choice when I come to the Bay area...

The maid was not very nice. She was pretty rude.

Clean hotel, but not a lot around it other than businesses. Breakfast was a disappointment - a few sandwiches and wraps for purchase from a coffee bar in the lobby.
