Stay-Over Suites

Altho’ designed for a multi-day stay, we reserved a last minute queen suite for an overnite stay. The unit was spacious with a sitting area, peninsula island with two stools, a kitchenette, bathroom, & separate bedroom. There were cookies in the lobby & food available 24/7 in the breakfast area. We highly recommend staying here.

Large suites, very comfortable beds. Good breakfast.

Been there several times. Well worth the cost. Lots of space. A few unique things here such as only one night table. Decent breakfast served from 4-10 a.m. due to the number of military personnel.

I've stay at this hotel often when in town and I give it a 5 star rating, but this particular time was rough. It was over the Christmas holiday and I am in town visiting family. When I checked into the room I was shocked it was not cleaned. Sink full of dishes and counter had clean materials on it and oven was greasy. No towels or anything in bathroom, missing shower curtain and the bed was not made/ missing linen. The woman at the front desk quickly accommodated me with another room which was clean and ready to stay in. Later that night I started to realize the heat was not coming on/ blowing cold air. I had it set on 82 and it was still showing on thermostat at 71. I called the front desk and at this time a gentleman answered and told me there was nothing they can do until in the morning since no maintenance workers were available. Then to find out the next day maintenance was on vacation or off. The heat made it to about 74 but it was the next day. I don't want this to sound like I have an awful time Everytime at this hotel. This was really a fluke experience out of 10 or more stays at the hotel. The young lady that assisted with check in and also relocating me to a ready to stay room. was very helpful and very friendly. She definitely gets 5 stars from me.

Property is nice. Rooms nice spaciousness and clean. The only issue was the strong smell inside of the facility, it could be the cleaning agent not sure.

Its very convenient. 8 minutes to the military base. And services where vary palette and kind. rooms felt homie.

The hotel charged me know I had an Expedia reservation without informing me they were showing no digital card on there end. The next morning I noticed my card was charged by hotel. I talk to front desk. They were totally unhelpful as I showed proof of Expedia pay etc on my credit card. So now I have 2 charges on my credit card for this stay. I was promised a phone call from management. No response to my Expedia on line texts or my verbal communication from hotel. This hotel seems to have issues with their system. I will not be returning. Also rotten bananas were served at breakfast.

The property was clean!

I highly recommend this hotel! Checking in and out was easy. The staff was very friendly! My suite was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I was traveling alone, but the suite would have been great for a family. My family of 5 used to travel a lot; I wish every hotel room we'd ever stayed in had been this good! The king bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of furniture, yet enough space for additional items (such as a portable crib or playpen). The kitchen was nice. I was able to purchase food for my 3-day stay, instead of having to eat out. I did hear trains go by several times during the day, but I didn't hear them at night. I'm not sure if that was because they didn't run at night, or I couldn't hear them because I use white noise when I sleep. If I am ever in Petersburg again, I will not hesitate to book Stay-Over Suites.
