Lovely hotel! Laid back location away from the busy touristy areas yet with a lot of amazing dining options and cafes. Subway station is only a short 9min walk and the ride to Manhattan takes 5min. Highly recommend

The staff was wonderful. My complaint is that I was ill during my stay and the television reception…which we called 3 times about for two days, was terrible. When you pay top dollar for a hotel you expect the basics to work.

Our room wasn’t cleaned for 2 days. We could not get any help with our luggage. We did not receive more toilet paper, or towels at any point during our 3 days stay

Not well maintained, the carpet in the lobby was taped up. The elevator takes ages and one was even out of service for one of the days. The design is very out of date. The heat doesn’t work well, if you set it to a desired temp, it will just stop running and never reach your desired temp. You only get two towels to shower with and they are tiny. My entire floor smelled of weed. Luxury hotel?? Absolutely not.

The tap water was brown. The temperature control did not work. The spa was closed and the WiFi didn’t work. They did not refund my stay. AVOID at all costs.

Great location if you are focused on Brooklyn and surrounding area. Convenient to restaurants and subway stations and local shops. The hotel has a vibe to it. Our disappointment was with the room. The TV went blank every ten to 15 minutes and took several minutes to turn back on. While we asked for service, it was never fixed so we had 3 days with the inconvenience. We set our room to be cleaned but when we returned after being out all day the room hadn’t be cleaned and no fresh towels left. it took another trip to the desk to ask for service. The front desk seemed short of staff as they only had one person who was tied up with another guest causing us to have to wait over 15 minutes to get our bill. We have stilled there often and this trip was the most disappointing especially given the $700 cost for the room.
