Great place to stay for a night before launching at Lake Powell. Would love to return with our UTV's to ride nearby.

We stayed at Ticaboo years ago when it was clearly in decline. They have obviously put effort into making it nice again, and it is reasonably priced.

Very quiet and away from the craziness, however it is 12-15 min away from the lake which is fine when they have a pool to keep kids happy when its hot. However, while we were there they closed the pool for a couple day so our kids were bummed. 1st night due to drinking and drunks at the pool my kids left the pool after 15min and the next 2 days closed for cleaning. If you are choosing property for the pool for kids just keep in mind. Other than that its an older place but clean and staff is great. It was quiet and worked fine for what we needed it for.

My television would not turn on even after unplugging and plugging back in and rotating the remote-control batteries. Refrigerator made a knocking sound all night. Other than that, it was clean and quiet.

Knowing we were going to a very desolate area we didn’t expect much! The reviews are fairly accurate not an updated space however we didn’t feel dirty either just well used, but the bedding and carpet were in good condition. It served our purpose a place to sleep and shower while enjoying Powell all day.
Coffee is available in the lobby every morning we were there (end August).

Easy and convenient location to Bullfrog marina. Rooms are as expected for such a remote place. Comfortable and clean rooms, mini fridge, and quiet. Late check in had my bill and key hanging in an envelope at the front desk with others hanger in the same manner. I would recommend if the Defiance hotel at Billfrog is not available, which was our case.
