Was expecting a lot more from a 4star hotel. Especially for the price paid. Rooms are dated and wouldnt recommend the spa. There was moss and mould growing in the swimming pool so didnt even bother going in. Twin room only had a plug on 1 side of the beds which were both taken up from my guest so could not charge my phone as the other sockets by the tv were too low to the table so my charger would not go in. Only plus was breakfast was really good, coffee not so much

A very comfortable pleasant hotel, we went for the tennis courts, the staff and facilities were very good, a room fridge would have been nice, and a later breakfast finish on weekdays would have meant we didn't go hungry on Monday morning.

Excellent location, with the most friendly and professional staff. Staff were very accommodating and made me feel special during my 1 night 2 day stay. This would be my first choice of hotel if I needed to stay in Basingstoke again. A truly lovely experience.

Rooms were nice and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Had no hot for a shower on both mornings, manager put this down to the rooms being too far away from the boiler. Ate at both the restraunt and the bar, food quality was disappointing, and service was poor. We were given water when seated but no one took a drinks order till after the starters arrived, and we had to request steak knives after 2 steaks had been delivered and waitress didnt come back. Overall disappointed for the price and the star rating of the property.

Good quality rooms and furnishings, very spread out over one floor. Big focus on business meetings but also a popular spa/gym.

The room is clean and comfortable, the swimming pools and the steam room are very good.

Check in was great. Staff v helpful. Rooms were v nice - decent decor and style was good, bathroom had heated mirror, which was nice for after showering. Staff in the evening were helpful and got us sorted with a taxi for the next morning. However, the pool (and gym) closed at 6pm on Sunday evening - I think clarity of this e.g. Email prior to booking confirmation, would be good, as we were disappointed. Also, on check out, the person on the desk seemed to have trouble with the computer system and tried to get me to pay a second time. The staff member was unpleasant to deal with - a shame as the others (including breakfast staff) seemed v nice and helpful.

We were made welcome and we found all the staff helpful. The food was good. The room was a nice size.

Quality of room seems to depend on where in the hotel you are situated - previously stayed in rm 109 which was excellent, air conditioned with a great shower, this time in rm 190 which felt really tired with no aircon and a poor. Still clean and well equipped, would just opt for the other side of the hotel in future.

A very enjoyable stay at the Hampshire Court hotel and spa. Very reasonably priced an excellent service from reception staff. Well appointed junior suite which unfortunately didn’t have air conditioning, but we were able to overcome this by sleeping with the patio doors open. Would be happy to return.

Swimming pool very welcome water too warm for serious swimming.

Short trip but very impressed with the room. Staff at front desk were very helpful especially one young man but did not note his name.

Staff Very Helpful, location is great, room very clean and tidy, although balcony could of been swept, lovely pool, had a very good stay.

Good rooms for the price. We had booked a double and a twin. One had air conditioning but the other did not, which wasn't ideal during hot weather! Apart from that it was exactly what we needed.

Good overall, unfortunately there were issues with the remote which for the first hour of my stay left me without access to the tv. I arrived very late in the evening so this wasn’t ideal. The staff were polite and professional and the overall standard of the hotel was high

Breakfast options great!

Stayed here plenty of times on business. I enjoy being able to use the facilities. The gym and spa are excellent
