We've got a great deal for this hotel from agent on the EPIC SALE campaign. And, unexpectedly, we've got an EPIC check-in experience too! At the reception, during a check-in process there was a lady, who we thought a CEO or OWNER of the hotel, came to us and asked how did we get this rate for this hotel booking? It's super low rate, even less than the half price of the normal rate. And she said it supposed to be allocated to another hotel which is a sister business of the one. So, we explained the lady that we've made this booking through Traveloka during the EPIC SALE Campaign, and it's actually the deal between the hotel and Traveloka, not the clients. Then, she continued to ask if the booking includes breakfast? We said yes! And, suddenly, she said no, they never had this kind of deal before cuz it was super cheap for the room rate and also include breakfast too. She even took the calculator up calculate everything and said she'll not get any revenue from our stay. And this our group will be the last booking she'll accept from agent. The way the lady said made us feel like we stole her room's revenue and cheated the hotel. But, fortunately, there was no other clients around the lobby. That's why we didn't make any complain. So, this story had held the check-in process even longer than usual. It took us about 30 mins to be able to get in our rooms. Other than the EPIC CHECK-IN experience, the rooms we've got look old, the bed sheet in one of the rooms was dirty and stained, the towels were worn out and frazzled, the door couldn't fully open. Blankets are also old fashion. So, with all this experience, if we've got to pay the full rate of the rooms, we wouldn't stay there.
