I think this place should be ~4.3, so I chose 5 to give it a boost. The staff was very friendly and the spa and playground are very kid friendly, clean and fun. There are some things that are showing signs of aging, don't expect a fancy polished aesthetic. Kitchen was medium well equipped. Great for families and affordable prices especially off season.

The place is very nice for family vacations and close to the beach! Apartments could use a reform, they are quite old, though they have all amenities necessary. Services could be open until later, there is a cocktail bar and a pool table that closes at dinner time and could be a very nice option for a fun evening in a town without much to do fun-wise.

The hotel is nice but the restaurant was a huge disappointment. We waited an hour for our meal and when it finally arrived mine was a few small cuts of pork (it was tasty though) a gelatinous lump of green stuff and a handful of potato chips sitting in pork juice. My husband had a piece of meat surrounded by thicker sliced potato chips. Definitely not what we had come to expect from Portugal restaurants and a higher price then it was worth.

There are much nicer places to stay in this town and in a nicer area (for the same price) than here. Rooms and public areas are very dated and smelt it too. Needed a bit of TLC, or at least a lick of paint and some new deckchairs by the pool… A bit too far out the town to walk which meant driving into the town and parking to go for dinner. No breakfast offered. If we wanted breakfast we were told to go to the sister hotel in the centre of the town. Stayed at Villa Eira the next time we were in Milfontes which was far nicer!

Photos made it look much nicer than it was. But old and run down but still probably one of the best in the town. Reception closes at 9pm which we didn’t know so almost missed check in. Pool and sauna and tennis courts and right near beach so can imagine it’s great in summer. Two bedroom apartment was huge. Had a great sleep. Parking available.
