When I booked this property, the rating said "Exceptional," which is one of the biggest reasons I went with it. This is a perfectly good room for a one or two night stay, but in my estimation there is nothing even approaching "exceptional" about this property. The furniture in the room I had was worn, scuffed and nicked; there was no desk in the room to place a laptop; the provided toiletries were a bare minimum. The room was clean and quiet. The surrounding property is generally pleasant, but nothing exceptional ... just lawn and trees. The property's description of itself as a "resort" I believe is misleading: There is nothing "resortlike" about the property that I could discern: No boats, no extra activities, no pool, etc. It's just a perfectable acceptable lodge, good for a night or two ... and that's it. A solid 5 out of 10.

Not a bad place for our overnight stay. Biggest problem we experienced was our bathroom door stuck so bad my husband almost couldn’t open it to let me out.

This is a nicely maintained older Lodge property. I visited during non peak season. The staff are very friendly. The property is clean. I ate at the attached bar and grill, again the staff were very friendly, food was good.

The property was in a good location for us. However, there was a lot of deferred maintenance. There was a leaky faucet-bedspreads way beyond their prime. Floors that were not clean— restaurant at the property was not open— the desk staff needed a more hospitable attitude. Nearby restaurants closed, and limited availability— The property is mainly there for winter travelers because it is next to a small ski hill.— the price was low-$85, for 1 nite. So that was good.— for the record, . We were traveling from Wilmington, NC to Columbus, Ohio.

The bed creaked so much I thought it was going to fall apart.

This is an extremely dated motel ( by no means is it a "resort"). There is a pretty lake in the back that half of the rooms can view, but the front is just a parking lot. The room furniture was very old and rough, but it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is extremely small with a very low commode

This is not a lodge at all, but a side of the highway motel. Restaurant and bar was not open. Rooms were poorly and cheaply decorated. This felt more like a motel 6. Staff was friendly and room was clean. But I would not stay here again. Pictures were very deceiving.

The access road is full of potholes. The toilet was loose ,but it was quiet, comfortable with a good ahower

A throwback to the 1970’s. Room was clean, clean linens. Perfect for overnight stop at a reasonable price. Very quiet place, but roadway to the lodge in desperate need of repair.

One night. Traveling through. Nice for the cost.
