Hotels that are local to Japan are just as nice if not better than the Big Box American hotels. Rest asure that you can stay at a local hotel save money and experience a level of customer service like you get back in the states.

Improvement on breakfast. Maybe more choices would be better

The room was clean, comfortable and had a nice view. The breakfast was great everyday!

Perfectly serene stay, close proximity to lots of dining options and shopping. Staff extremely helpful and eager to give a helping hand. Booked taxis for us for an early morning train ride. Great stay, extremely elegant hotel beautiful furnishings everywhere. Check in was a breeze.

Very nice hotel, staff was extremely polite and attentive even for Japan. Room was spacious and very clean, and the location is great, right next to an outlet mall.

Amazing staff here. Rooms are slightly bigger than most Japan hotels. Convenient location.

All staff were very polite and helpful, ensuring every moment of my stay was perfect. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide choice of items. There was a great choice of evening meal too, if dining in was required. An excellent hotel for business, located 5 minute walk away from the local railway station, bus station and exhibition centre. Highly recommended.

I had a good time at this hotel. It's beautiful, clean, quiet, and relaxing. The staff is also very welcoming and helpful, and I like their cakes. My only critique is the headboard cushion on the bed. It looked like someone rested their wet hair on it, and was stained. I didn't really want to rest on it while watching TV. But I'll be back!

Very courteous and efficient staff. Elegant decor in lobby (loved the Christmas couch!) and especially our room lived up to “art-decor” billing. Nice firm mattress, with a feathery-light comforter that was as warm as an electric blanket! The rapid-fill bath was a delight once in, but the external water drain (for accidental overflow?) was a toe-stubber. Styling of round table was a nice match with decor and chairs but a little small for two-person room service. We’ll be back!

Staff are very friendly and look after you highly recommend

The hotel was nice, old but nice. Breakfast was bad. The coffee was undrinkable. I would never stay there again.

Amazing hotel close to everything in the area with top notch service. Easy walk to convention center for Comic Con.

Our grandchildren liked the spacious park across the street from the Manhattan Hotel. The 2 and 4 year old liked the playground equipment. Shopping and train station is close by.
