Me and my family stayed here for nearly a week and could not recommend it more. Location is gorgeous, peaceful and quiet. Owner/staff super kind, and the language barrier was not an issue at all. My husband had a back injury and they went above and beyond to help us. We were there during the earthquake that hit early jan 2024 and felt very safe, following the guidelines of the well prepared staff. The dining experience is supreme. Every day a different meal prepared with love. Note that is mainly japanese meals and some picky western eaters might not enjoy as much as we did! In house onsen was a plus! We had a car which made it easy for us to come and go to town n the ski resorts. Would certainly come back!

What a great stay. I enjoyed everything. The food, the staff, the atmosphere and the Onsen. Beautiful decoration. My room had a beautiful view and was very clean. A 15min walk to the Tsubame onsen. I felt at home and at peace. Will definitely come back for my next visit to Japan.

One of the best hotels I've ever been to. The ambiance is just perfect. So cozy and luxury at the same time. The building is gorgeous and the dining room is a masterpiece. You can also find a little vintage museum inside. The window view from the rooms is stunning as well. Especially when they turn on the light up. I'd love to spend here the Christmas eve next time. Should be a fairytale. Thank you for this stay.
