— What You Can Expect —

Join this Jumping Crocodile Cruise tour from Darwin for a truly exhilarating experience as you get up close and personal with some of nature's most aggressive and dangerous wildlife, located in the waterways of the Northern Territory. It is home to over 100,000 saltwater crocodiles, predominantly found in and around Darwin, Adelaide River, and Mary River areas.

Witness the biggest reptile in the world and the oldest creature to walk the planet since dinosaurs. These prehistoric beasts grow up to 6 meters in length (the size of a small bus) and can weigh up to 1000kg. Learn about infamous crocodiles like "Sweetheart," who was captured near the Adelaide River after repeatedly chewing the motors off the back of fishermen's boats and eating farmers' cows. Although Sweetheart passed away, you can see it taxidermized in the Darwin Museum.

The Jumping Crocodile Cruise crew are highly trained to ensure the safety of both the crocodiles and passengers at all times. During the tour, crocodiles are fed buffalo meat, allowing guests to witness first-hand the powerful and spectacular hunting techniques of a saltwater crocodile. All staff are issued with certified Wildlife Permits for all interactions with the wildlife on the tour, and will ensure no animals are harmed.
