Tech Dome Penang is the first science centre on the island and an initiative by the Penang State Government to create a hub for technology learning and the exchange of ideas. It is said to be a vehicle for improving scientific literacy and technology ability in Malaysia.
Located strategically at the geodesic dome of KOMTAR, visitors can explore over 150 interactive exhibits across 7 galleries. One of the main attractions there would be the G-Drop, the world's first free-standing vertical drop slide.

I had a lot of fun with my friends. We tried many different exhibits. The memorable ones were Freeze Your Shadow and Gravity Drop, which they said is the world's first free-standing vertical drop slide

I've been to Singapore Science Center before, and although Tech Dome Penang not as big, it still gives great experience for tech and science enthusiast. The staff were extremely helpful and answer all the questions we got
