EZ-Link card was Singapore's very first contactless stored value card introduced for public transit use on the MRT, LRT and buses in April 2002. The card completes all its transactions within 0.2 seconds and in this way, revolutionarily makes travelling on buses and trains that much faster and smoother.
The new ez-link card which is CEPAS* compliant was the first CEPAS card to be launched in Singapore in 2008 and to date, remains the number 1 choice for contactless prepaid card payment in Singapore.
*CEPAS stands for Contactless ePurse Applications, a Singapore standard.

Although it was a bit difficult to find a place to redeem the ezlink card at first, the overall experience was great. The card came with $5. I topped up $20, which was enough to travel comfortably on buses and trains for 4 days in Singapore. I was really impressed with the great public transport system here. There are many machines to top up the card at the train stations, accepting both cash and master cards.

Search for Changi Rewards booth at arrival to redeem this. Should be available on arrival in every terminal. Good luck. Usually located after the immigration check, before exit door.

Used ok. When you arrive at the airport, pay attention to the counter with the word "Changi recommends" to exchange your voucher.
At first I thought this place only sold tickets for sightseeing and that, so I couldn't find it for a long time. Then I came back to this place and asked the counter to find out it was here. Omg what a stupid person running around 😂
