Puri Saren Agung is the royal residence of the descendants of Tjokorda Gde Agung Sukawati, the last king of Ubud. Although the king has long passed away, the Ubud Palace remains an important landmark and tourist attraction. Visitors can admire the palace's intricate Balinese carvings and beautiful garden during the day, then catch traditional dance and gamelan music performances at night.
