Opened in 1991, Hong Kong Park is a green oasis in the heart of the city. The 8-hectare park is filled with many kinds of attractions — an artificial lake, an aviary, and one of Southeast Asia's largest greenhouses, just to name a few. Several colonial buildings inside the park have also been converted into museums, such as the Hong Kong Visual Arts Center and the Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware.
