National Gallery is one of the oldest building in Jakarta and has been around since the Dutch occupancy. There are at least 1.700 works of modern and contemporary art made by Indonesian artists, like Raden Saleh, Basoeki Abdullah, Hendra Gunawan, and Affandi S. Sudjojono, just to name a few along with some international artists. Aside from that, this place also holds some regular exhibitions, such as Permanent, Temporary, and Travelling Exhibition to be enjoyed by everyone.
