North East Line (NEL), the shortest line of Singapore MRT with purple as the color symbol on the official map. This line starts from HarbourFront Station in southern Singapore to Punggol Station in the northeast, so it’s easier for you if you want to explore North East Singapore.

Public transportation stations always have extraordinary services and facilities to make the users feel comfortable. Every station on the North East Line has a passenger service centre (PSC) to help passengers when they need some. On top of that, every station is equipped with escalators, lifts, comfortable seats, and wheelchair-friendly facilities.

Ticketing Information

All MRT Singapore line costs start from $1.40 for adults. Passengers can purchase a ticket from the ticket machine at every station. There are two types of tickets, such as Stored Value Cards and Singapore Tourist Passes. The Stored Value Cards is a contactless ticket that’s basically for permanent residents. While temporary visitors can use Singapore Tourist Passes.

As not as many as other lines, the North East Line of MRT Singapore has 16 stations in total. It begins from HarbourFront, a station that is linked to the Circle line interchange.
