3. Pete-Pete

Advantages: "Pete-pete" is a local term for "Angkot" in Makassar. These transportation options are widely available in Makassar, with around 4,000 operating units. They come in various colors, each with a code displayed on the window to indicate its route. The routes cover all areas in Makassar, making it a convenient mode of transportation within the city or to tourist destinations.

5. Damri Bus

Advantages: The Damri Makassar Bus is a transportation service between the airport and the city. From the airport, the service runs from 5 am to 8 pm local time. From the city, the service runs from 8:30 am to 12 am local time. Each bus can carry between 20 to 40 passengers, and there are many buses available every 30 minutes.
Route: The airport route starts from Riburane Street, goes through Tol IR Sutami, and ends on Riburane Street. The city route starts from Pasar Baru or Pattimura Street.
Fares: The price for this Damri bus is IDR 25,000 per person.
Tips: To ensure that you catch the bus to the city or airport, arrive at the bus stop before the scheduled time. You can also check the schedule a day in advance to know its arrival time.

6. Rent a Car
