Batik Solo Trans

The first public transport you can use to go around Solo is Batik Solo Trans. This is the type of bus that can be used to get around Solo. Batik Solo Trans has up to six corridors and almost 400 stops.

Currently, Batik Solo Trans has at least more than 80 units of buses that separate around Solo. The operational hours of Batik Solo Trans start from 05:00 AM to 06:00 PM. The frequency of buses coming in every stop is around 7 minutes each.

Werkudara Bus

In Solo, you can find a double-decker bus, known as Bus Werkudara. This is a tourist bus provided by the government for tourism. Werkudara Bus will take you go around Solo for about 1,5 hours of travel time. This bus only operates every Saturday and Sunday, from 09:00 AM, 12:30 PM, and 03:30 PM. Each bus is able to fit around 43 passengers.

Werkudara Bus will start from the Department of Transportation in Solo to Taru Jurug Animal Park.

Sepur Kluthuk Jaladara

Solo has a unique tourism transportation system called Sepur Kluthuk Jaladara. Just a heads up, you can use the train for a pre-wedding photo session! To book a ride on the Sepur Kluthuk Jaladara, you must make a reservation with the Department of Transportation in Solo. The size of this train is not the same as an average train.

Route

Sepur Kluthuk Jaladara has its special route around the city. The train route will start from Purwosari Station, continue along Slamet Riyadi Street, and end at Solo City Station.

Tariffs

For travelers, Sepur Kluthuk Jaladara only provides group tours with two carriages that can accommodate around 80 passengers. The travel route takes more than three hours and costs around Rp3,500,000.

Angkot Surakarta

Angkot Surakarta is another public transportation you can easily find around Solo. Like other Angkot in Indonesian cities, the Angkot in Surakarta also differentiates each unit with a route code.
