To be honest I wasn’t expecting much from a lower priced place like this. But it was genuinely great! Good room. Nicely renovated. No street noise (I was on the 4th floor). Lovely staff. And there is a connected restaurant if you need food. Would def stay again.

Enjoyed my stay at the George William Hotel. It was clean and comfortable with cafe next door for breakfast.Restaurants nearby and public transport .Staff were helpful and friendly.

Staff were lovely . The next time we go we will take our pushbikes as we can catch the train and get off at Roma st as it’s just down the street as they said they can protect our bikes overnight for us . The location is great for the cbd as walking distance fantastic . even though just a basic room it was great and very clean and the bed very comfortable. Would recommend as the pricing was competitive to others near by .
