The tranquility and location of this accommodation and Tavern were perfect for the travel from Vic to QLD - a relaxing and enjoyable stop along the way. A huge thankyou to Craig who made our check in experience easy and also to the wonderful amenities staff at the hotel with checkout. The Tavern was busy however all staff worked hard to ensure a wonderful dining experience for all patrons. Everyone was so friendly and relaxed. We will definitely return again for a few nights to relax and enjoy Harrington River a bit more. A real gem of a location. Karen and Mike :)

We loved our stay so much we stayed an extra night.
Yes the bathroom is a little dated but the rooms are huge and so very comfortable. The pool area was lovely and quiet for a relaxing swim.
We will definitely be back.

Great place to stay on a road trip. Beautiful view and the restaurant had live music when we arrived Saturday afternoon. A bonus. Room and bathroom are spacious and has a lovely view.

Staff were very friendly & accomadating to our request to stay an extra day. Rooms were big & clean. There was plenty of parking & they had a Hotel a short walk from our room where you could enjoy the lovely river view while you had a nice meal & drink.

Bike path outside the door into village and beach. Lovely cycle to the lighthouse. Buried delightful rainforest.
Extremely dim overhead lighting in the bedroom was depressing. Otherwise, the facilities were high standard and well maintained. But good lighting is crucial when trying to find items in your suitcase.

Great value. The room was big and very comfortable. It opened out onto a patio with a great pool not too far way. Unfortunately the weather prohibited us enjoying a dip.

Stayed here for a night on our Australia road trip, we were upgraded to a beautiful room with balcony overlooking the lake.
The room was huge, with a shower and a jet bath which was amazing.
The view was lovely, yes the room could do with some updating and tlc but for the price I can’t complain.
The check in instructions on hotels.com are incorrect, there is a reception area and you don’t check in at the pub/restaurant but other than that great stay
