Hands down some of the nicest staff and the facilities are amazing. Spent the day at the pool whilst waiting for my flight and was heavenly, so quiet and enjoyable.

Lovely room and lovely service at check in. But in the evening the pool area became a night club till early hours. We asked for an early wake up call 330am for out 6am flight and we didnt get it! We almost missed out flight if not for the grace of jetstar staff & a christmas miracle we would have missed it.

Small swimming pool in middle of courtyard next to bar area. Helpful staff. Note this is a music venue but this is well advertised so is noisy especially at weekends but if you like some entertainment then this is is a good place to go.

Nice old retro hotel , really nice staff it was just a bit noisy for a place to stay with kids at night ,during the day awesome pool area and games whilst the parents have a few pints .

My room was clean and tidy , there were no power pionts at the bed head area , for my resmed to plug into , so i had to unplug TV and use that power outlet . The pool wasn't heated so nobody was swimming .

Reception staff very friendly. Housekeeping staff very loud, they were banging on my door the day after I arrived despite having do not disturb sign up. Found there was a lot of ants on the surfaces and on the bin. Good location close to the beach and grocery shop and restaurants. Got a microwave and toaster to room which was handy for breakfast.

I couldn’t sleep because of the band it was so loud and we then got woken up by the neighbors talking across from our room! not family friendly! There is no restaurant, It’s very seedy! it would be great if you’re single and like to party!

BEWARE
I was mislead by the photos advertising this hotel and in truth it is a party hotel for young people. There was no way I would stay so we wasted $240 as there was no refund and I was advised by the receptionist that they could not transfer this room to another night as it was booked through you!
BOOK YOUR ROOMS THROUGH HOTEL, NOT WOTIF
I tried emailing the hotel and appealing to them that I would like to send my wife’s adult son instead so we can have the night together at our own home instead (this was why we had spontaneously booked the room, wanting some privacy) but I never heard back. If we’d booked directly then they may have been able to help but having booked through you we were left with no option other than lose the money.
My son actually booked a way better hotel with a bath (which is what we thought we were getting) for $30 less and only $100 deposit.
WHATEVER YOU DO, DON’T SPONTANEOUSLY BOOK HOTEL ROOMS UNLESS YOU’VE BEEN THERE BEFORE.
Very disappointed in how misleading your hotel pictures are.

The room I stayed in had very little upgrades since the 70’s. That may add to the charm of it all. However the ammenities left a lot to be desired.
Excellent location. 2 blocks from the beach.
