Kyah Hotel

Very nice stay. The grounds and facilities are great. The restaurant was very good. Only negatives- the bathroom, needs to be renovated! Breakfast needs to go or be improved! It was very very disappointing, just toast and jam, some pastries? Breakfast is included in the rate but better to not include it as it currently stands. No breakfast option either if you want to order and pay.

I came across Kyah on social media and it did not disappoint! From the service, facilities and cleanliness, it truly exceeded my expectations. The inclusive breakfast was delicious and the facilities such as the hot tub and sauna were easy to book. The service was terrific and the staff were lovely! The rooms were spacious, quiet and the bed was comfy. If I had to pick anything, the only constructive feedback I would give was the room and bathroom had quite dim lighting. There was also no cutlery other than some teaspoons and no table to sit down at. However, it was a magical stay and I would happily stay at Kyah again the next time I’m visiting the Blue Mountains!

We spent 3 mid week nights at Kyah. Enjoyed the funky boutique hotel vibe of the place. Hot tub and sauna were enjoyable and easy to reserve; dinner we had at the on premises restaurant Blaq was excellent. As far the room goes, the bed mattress was too soft for our tastes and the room lacked closet space for clothes. Bathroom lacked a room deodoriser spray/aerosol. The room lacked any hotel guidebook info although I know people use the internet and apps for that these days. The GOKI app to open the room lock was adequate but somewhat annoying as it lists a way to contact the hotel front desk but the press 6 option only looped back to the main menu. No one answered. I prefer an old fashioned key! Surprised there is no game room or library/reading room at Kyah. Interesting music is piped in throughout the facility and it is hard to get away from it for some silence! Biggest issue we had was there is no check in desk/reception area. Staff at the restaurant/bar seem to do double duty working the bar and dealing with guest issues and requests. We requested changes of bedding/room service on two days and the cleaning crew never got the job done. No one approached us and identified themselves as being in a managerial roll or took immediate responsibility. We were accused of not really putting the "change the bedding sign" on the outside of the room door. There should have been no arguing with us about this. A staff member should have made it right ASAP.

The room is on the ground floor. It feels cold, and the floor is always damn. The bathroom grout is mouldy and needs a better cleaning. The service is mediocre.

We had an amazing 3 day stay at Kyah. The room was cosy and the bed was very comfortable. The Blaq restaurant was a highlight with dairy free options. The grounds were so fun, with games everywhere you went! The Kyah team were absolutely amazing and very accomodating and friendly. We enjoyed being a short drive to the most beautiful local lookouts for sunrises and hiking. We look forward to our next stay!

The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was amazing!! The food in the restaurant was very good.

My priority for my time at Kyah was to rest and my daughters was to hike. Kyah meet our exact requirements, with it's lovely environment, the green house, hot tub, delicious continental breakfast, Restrauant and other activities to enjoy if we wanted. Being a gardener I loved the surrounding natural gardens, the actual garden for growing vegetables and the chickens. Just puts your mind at ease and no rush. The beds were very comfortable and the renovations are very stylish. I would have loved to stayed longer and hope to return again one day.

Ave stayed here twice before This time I thought the breakfast could have fruit juice The croissants were cold and not appealing The ?disable room with the ramp was not clearly visible ( painted in pink) as my friend tripped on The dinner was excellant the 4 of us enjoyed it Regards Pat

Wonderful property. Clean and functional. Kids loved their own bunk beds.

We stayed at this property 9 months ago and decided to bring our parents here as we truely loved it so much. Though Kyah is a good hotel, we were very disappointed to see that the breakfast has changed drastically as this was one of the things we loved! The breakfast service included loaf, croissants, jam, cake and coffee. Last time we were here they had eggs, ham, cheese etc, please note there is no savoury options! Other than that, the restaurant is great with lovely food and atmosphere!

Such a lovely hotel with so much attention on the guest. Had lots of extras which was lovely given it was Christmas Eve.

The host was absolutely amazing and accommodating to all our different needs. Very stylish and well presented.

A gorgeous place. Love the feel of the bar/restaurant and outdoor spaces. Good to let the kids run off some steam. The bar has great cocktails. Continental breakfast basic but fine. Yoghurt yummy. Unfortunately the bed was way too soft and I ended up having an uncomfortable sleep with sore back and hips. Another family member in another room stated the same. The family room with bunk is great. The kids loved having their own spot but being so close without a door between us. Bathrooms old but clean and with modern updates. Shower had good water pressure.

The staff were cheerful and very helpful. We really loved using the hot tub, followed by a wonderful dinner for four at the restaurant. The beds are huge and comfy. The spectacular Grand Canyon walk is a short drive down the road.
