Perouse was a good option. On expedia it says they have parking but there are only 5 spots and first in first serve situation. So you end up paying another $60 in parking that is two blocks away - not ideal in the pouring like we experienced. No hate to Perouse i just wish the advertising was more explicit and shared the parking cost.

Easy safe walking distance from public transport, coffee shops and dinner options close by. Nice neighbourhood not to built up has original charm and history.

Great for a one-night stay, especially if visiting nearby hospital/clinics.
It's hard to keep common areas clean and tidy and honestly this is a huge step up from most other accommodation with shared amenities. I felt okay using the microwave.
In-room bathroom was excellent for disability access: wide doorway, spacious, mobility aids installed for toilet and shower. The toilet was a bit too high, but most hotel toilets are too high.
Very easy access to UNSW, Prince of Wales, Childrens Hospital and surrounding clinics. Light rail and buses about a block away, so good transport options to the city and rail connections.
Staff are friendly and helpful, very professional.

I have stayed at this place several times. I contracted COVID the day before arriving and notified admin. They refused to refund my money.
If I hadn’t told them, I could have infected others staying.
I will never stay again nor will I refer to others.

There is some noise coming from the outside through windows if you leave it open for fresh air. noise source is many air conditioning systems for the hotel and the hotel next door. Otherwise the hotel is nice and clean with friendly staff.

My room was quite small, and that was ok. A couple of things to note that were slightly inconvenient were:
1. The bathroom door would not stay open.
2. The mirror was in a dark part of the room and I could not get a good look from top to bottom
3. The cupboard space could have been better to accommodate hang a dress
4. Would have liked to have an iron in the room.
But all in all a love property and very friendly pleasant staff.

The rooms are very small. Limited housekeeping provided. Crockery and cutlery not washed. Very noisy at night. The hotel took over $300 off my credit card two days after we left for a 'broken tv' when we did not use or break the tv and refused to reimburse. Will not stay there again.
