The overall stay was great and room was quite comfortable. Our issues were the pillows (that despite being comfy are hotel pillows and therefore present no support at all. I ended up with neck pain) and the mini fridge. Omg, the mini fridge did not keep drinks cold enough. The also didn't have pen or notepad in our room, maybe everything is too digital now?!
The breakfast was amazing and staff were friendly.

While most aspects of the hotel and our room were good, our main complaint was the "hotel perfume" that pervaded the lobby. Even my husband who never notices scents or smells found it to be overpowering. Very unpleasant. Also, we were surprised to find only one chair at the small table in our hotel room which seemed a little odd, with no desk. While the bed and the sheets were good, the bathroom towels were very ordinary - not soft and luxurious like I expected in a Sofitel.

Lovey neat hotel- staff friendly; front of staff very scripted on our arrival- struggled to remember all key details as she said everything so fast. TV and coffee machine didn’t work the first night however was repaired in prompt time next day whilst we were out. Cleaning thorough and breakfast nice enough (hot things cold but coffee exceptional). Security parking close by - also close to neighboring nightclub - quite a few groups of young men hanging around back of building and car park - a bit loud but not horrible. well lit undercover area for valet 24/7.

The location is good with a wonderful view. The indoor swimming pool is warm. The staff are kind. One problem is the fridge is bad. It cannot provide a cool place for storage of food.

There is no restaurant available on a Monday. Room service the food was ok but no basic condiments such as pepper salt tomato sauce Not acceptable in a Sofitel. I would not have booked if I had known there was only room service. I was charged for parking despite stating I did not require it and had no car

I’m giving it a solid 9/10—only missing a point because there’s no bathtub! Other than that, everything is absolutely spot on. I’m a sucker for gorgeous, spotless spaces, and this hotel caters and feeds my OCD beautifully and in the best way possible. It’s incredibly clean, elegant, and serene—definitely a place I’ll return to!

We absolutely loved our stay. The only thing as i travel often with my two child was the saunas each in the male and female toilets. For a luxury hotel it provided everything i needed. Definitely recommend the breakfast.

I was upgraded to a corner room which was superb with great views of the city. Monday night hotel dining options were limited but some good restaurants were nearby. The pool and gym were also fine for a hotel of this type.
