Perfect location in Glenelg. Rooms over looking beach were fabulous. Will return. Breakfast buffet wasn’t particularly coeliac friendly for our son - but so many alternative options at door step.

The staff were very friendly from the time we booked and through the day and through the night and till we booked out. The room was clean but where the curtains were, could of done with a dust and a vacuum. Can't speak more highly of the friendly staff.

Wow what can l say, the hotel is in the most perfect location, right on the beach. The room was spacious and the bed so comfortable. A special mention to the guys on the reception desk, they were so friendly and welcoming. On arrival we were upgraded to an ocean view room, was given a glass of champagne and because it was my daughter’s birthday, they sent up a bottle of champagne to her suite. Service absolutely outstanding, can’t wait to stay at the Grand hotel again. Thank you

I love coming back to the Stamford at Glenelg. I just like the feel of its old charm, especially the bar. It is a little tired, but I would like to see the chesterfield chairs updated to new chesterfields. The beds are comfortable but bouncy.

Stamford Grand is in a prime location, right by the beach. The rooms are large and comfortable with great amenities. It’s a little dated with the shower over bath but otherwise fine. Parking is not free at $25 per night but the hotel is in a very convenient location close to restaurants and shopping. A good range of items is available in the buffet breakfast served daily.

Had a wonderful stay that was kicked off with a glass of bubbles on arrival which was a lovely touch. Staff were excellent & attentive. Only a couple of minor things to mention, an air vent above the shower very dusty & the entrance/exit to the lift in the car park could do with a lick of paint/refresh. Like I said minor but could help to bring the standard up. Really had a lovely time.
