The Windsor Castle Hotel

Great location and helpful staff. Perfect for a short stay. Enjoyed the pub downstairs when it was raining. Also within walking distance to shops and other dining areas. Rooms also were modern and clean.

A simple room at the rear of the hotel. Very clean and with all the usual amentities. Recently renovated bathroom was good. Easy access to the hotel which has a wonderful bistro. Good music on Saturday night. Close to shops.

Was welcomed by a the charming Kylie who could not have been more warm and helpful. Her care of us was followed up throughout our stay. Rooms and all amenities were immaculate. Dining area and food excellent!

Clean, tidy up to date room. Had everything we needed.

We checked in very late after major delays in our long day's drive, and the staff left us waiting, not knowing when someone would be able to check us in. When we requested a late check-out, they were unable to accommodate this request. We were booked into a room on the top floor and there was no lift, so we were left to haul our large luggage up two flights of stairs. In the morning, there was no breakfast available onsite and no cafes open in town. We left, early, tired and hungry to eat breakfast an hour down the road. The room was clean and comfortable, but otherwise it was a very difficult stayover.

Okay accommodation. Cockroaches were present.

Good place to stay if you are on budget.

The place is good family. Clean and the environmemt feels safe. The only concern is that the contact number in the site seems like not working. I requested a call back but no call back, and also, I sent an email but no reply. Made me question the legitimacy of my booking. But overall, the experience was great.

Bar staff are the reception, this can be problematic if they are busy. There was some confusion around the booking, not a big deal...

The room was suitable for an overnight stay. For business where you need to work during the stay it was not ideal as there was no desk facility or workspace in the room I had. The bistro was convenient. Central to East Maitland which has all the convenience you need or Greenhills if you want more shopping. Good alue for money.

It was noisy outside from patrons in the carpark and also noisy guests coming into the motel area. They were loud and had no consideration for the other guests staying that were trying to sleep. The internet was very poor. You would connect and within 30 seconds you would lose connection and have to re connect. Very hard when trying to read emails and messages.

The hotel was a surprise. We don't usually stay at hotels but this was a nice place, spacious room, clean and well appointed. What we didn't like was the smoking in the poker machine room.

It was simple and cheap, suited my purpose. Would definitely stay again.
