Was a beautiful place

Had a room on the top floor, the layout of the bathroom was extremely odd, meaning there was no stand up shower, just a tiny bath and a hand held shower head. When I asked for a new room, they said everyone had already checked in (this was 6pm). As soon as they said this, someone entered the hotel to check in for that night, so it was a bold faced lie. The AC also never worked. The "bar" they have is not really a bar, more a fridge near reception that has one beer in, cant really claim to have a hotel bar here. The pool was also closed.

Overall not too bad . Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast very nice . Rooms nothing special nut adequate. Main think that let this hotel down was no tea and coffee facilities and no free water . Tram stops directly outside hotel but easily walkable to attractions too .

We liked the hotel very much. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. There was plenty of choice for breakfast. The location is good, a 40-minute walk from the historic centre. As we love walking, it was an excellent choice for us.

Great hotel, worked well for our family needs.

Good overall - some staff members super friendly, some didn’t speak English that well. 7 min walk to the station. Breakfast was good. No coffee and tea in the room but you can ask the staff to make you a coffee downstairs. Pool was closed. Overall good value for money.

The room was wonderful, bed comfortable. Not close to main area, however, tram right in front of hotel. We chose rate without breakfast, however, there is an Aldi's next to hotel (if you are on a budget), where you can purchase, croissants, pastries and cold coffee. The staff can warm something up for you if you ask, they speak English and are very nice. The room does not provide a bottle of water.

I was lucky I could check in around noon, otherwise they normally let us in at 2pm. Thanks.

Awesome staff!

The location is good. Transport links were easily accessible. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfy. I slept soundly every night. The pool is 24 hours which I thought was excellent and it’s a very nice pool area. Unfortunately, the pool was cooler than I expected which was a shame. I didn’t use it at all because of that. The staff were all very friendly and my room was tidied every day whilst I was out. The mini bar was well stocked and very reasonably priced. I would definitely stay here again, I just hope that the pool is a little warmer.

It was a good experience overall. I think the service and attention of staff is very good. Convienent as there’s markets and all sorts of shops that one would need. There’s also a very nice area with pubs and old breweries on the next paralel street so its very lively. As a hotelier myself i have to share i few things… the lobby and shared areas could be warmer. The a/c doesent need to be blowing cold air when its cold and raining. A bottle of still water could be comp. In the room. The mini fridge/tv table needs to be moved to be accessible because the doors open opposite ways and the bed is too close. Needs to be fixed. Clean rooms, nice staff that are helpful and very convenient. The breakfast was also nice 👍 Would def. Stay again.

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THEIR GOOD PHOTOGRAPHY. It looks nothing like the photos, you’re being hoodwinked. I checked into the room and checked straight back out again. It was SO DIRTY. The pool was closed, the tv didn’t work, there were stains on the bedding and Pringles all over the windowsill. Hotels.com were amazing and helped us to find alternative accommodation but honestly, I wouldn’t even recommend this place to backpackers on a budget. The receptionist offered me a complimentary drink while my nephew and I waited for my sister to join us - except they’d had a party at the weekend and they were out of stock of everything except leftover cold red wine that had been open for five days and tasted like vinegar! Pretty laughable really, though I can assure you I wasn’t laughing at the time. Such a strange experience and one I wouldn’t wish upon anyone - definitely do not book here!

Lovely hotel and friendly staff. Pool floor was rather slippery but it was overall a good hotel.

Staff were great. Room was fab.Great location to centre with easy access on underground, Bathroom perhaps needed a bit of work.

The photos of the hotel rooms look nothing like the reality. We booked a standard room, and when we got in it was horrible. Barely any space to move around the room, a tiny window and tiny bathroom you couldn’t swing a cat in. The room was boiling hot and we couldn’t change the temperature, we wanted to open the windows but didn’t feel safe in doing so as we were so close to the ground. No kettle or iron or anything. We asked to be moved to another room, it wasn’t great but still better than the original. At least it was ok a higher floor so we could open the window. Something that was kind of weird is that our room wasn’t properly clean for the entirety of our stay. We stayed for 3 nights total. And came back after being out for the day and would notice that some things had been moved but nothing had actually been cleaned. One bed had been made, and some of our belongings had been moved, a couple of new towels brought in, but the room wasn’t tidied or cleaned properly. Really strange. It almost looked as if someone had come in the room to look for something valuable to steal, moved everything around but not found anything worth taking. Bizarre. All this being said the staff were still very friendly and accommodating. None of the above is any reflection on the staff’s professionalism and kindness, so thank god for that!

Unhelpful front desk. Lousy room at the back of the hotel where all of the housekeeping trolleys were stored right outside our door. This, despite a particular request to stay with our family group in the main hotel. Avoid all rooms on the first floor or invest a little more in a better hotel. Can't recommend.

Good hotel with very friendly staff. The room was nice and clean and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small, but still acceptable. It is located slightly outside of the city centre, but a tram going to the downtown stops a few step from the hotel door.

It was a good property. Very clean just a little outdated. The bed were very firm but the pillows rocked. WiFi was great and had zero problems with it. Kind of an out there location from the tourist spots but didn't take too long to get to them considering the price. All and all a good stay.
