Karmeliter Flats

We arrived early and hoped for an early check in. We were told to wait. We waited over one hour and finally someone came. We were told the apartment won't be ready until 3p. (Check in was supposed to be at 2p) Once in, we found a run down property, in desperate need for renovation. Two twin beds put together, not comfortable. Pillows were horrible. I wouldn't recommend, I wouldn't go back. Location was the only positive for this place. Pricewise, it was not cheap, which makes it harder to accept the condition of the place.

The check-in, location, and thoughtful touches like coffee and shampoo were lovely! Comfortable unit, really easy to access. I would stay here again.

Good location, easy to access, clear instructions. The flat is in poor condition; they have ants in it (traps are in place - PS used coffee is better). The beds and pillows are the best quality and there could be more things in the cupboard, such as salt, oil etc. Good option for a cheap price.

Location was great! About 10 min from downtown. Not clean: dusty floors and all shelves; moldy bathroom. Bedsheets where clean. Some stuff were broken and response from Property manager took around 12 hours. We asked about extended check out - never got answer for that. If you are ok to have close location to downtown and sleep in dirty room it’s ur ur perfect choice!

The property is located in a good location, close to the centre e to the public transports. The access is easy and very clearly stated from the owners.

The placement is very good! Mattress was very comfortable! We ordered Deluxe Apartment but that wasn’t exactly deluxe: Air conditioner works only as a FAN !!! There wasn't washer in apartment as was promised by booking information

We had a late check in so no one was available to help It was humid and hot and there was no air conditioning or fan. Also they mention washer dryer but there is only a washer in isolated basement which is a little scary no dryer(what meant was drying rack) They promised to bring fans which never came !! They one bedroom with sofa bed has poor layout and is not comfortable We tried to switch accommodation but with a group of 14 people it was not feasible they refused to refund even if we checked out. The elevator is not for people with claustrophobia.

Basic clean small self contained apartment. perfect for business travel. near river and lots of local pubs and restaurants.

Really awful. The apartment was dusty, the beds were lumpy, the curtains and blinds did not keep the light out and worse of all the W.C. smelt bad and we couldn't get rid of the smell. We checked out early because we couldn't stand the place.

Nice area, short walk to city center. Compact European Apartment. Flexible staff. Bedding and Pillows European style, but a fan was available as no thermostat visible. More directions on welcome introduction for non-European travelers on trash sorting rules, dumpster locations, etc. would be helpful.

Excellent location with good facilities. About 15 mins walking to the city center or 2 mins to the closest metro. Good stay. Seamless check in and out.

The apartment was okay but we got charged for "extra persons" in our room after putting 4 persons in search criteria. Those fees should have been in the quoted price of 4 persons! Deceitful!!!

We stayed at the apartments at Grosse Schiffgasse. It is a very central location with many tourist spots walking distance and rest are very well connected by metro. The apartment is very comfortable with facilities like a small kitchen with a fridge and microwave. Couple of suggestions from my experience are: 1. Please keep a vacuum cleaner in the apartment. We were there for 6 nights and the room can get very very dusty. Since there is no cleaning service during your stay maintaining a clean flat becomes a challenge. 2. Please do make clear that there is no individual washing machine in each apartment. Apart from lift breaking down for the last two days of our stay (we were on the 6th floor , phew!) we had a very comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend considering an apartment instead of a hotel if you are staying for a few days.

The location is really great, close to the underground, close to Karmelrmarkt which has lots of cafe's and restaurants to choose from, the area is also very quiet and safe. This is not a serviced apartment therefore it will not be cleaned the whole time you are there, stay here if you don't mind this. I like the convenience of having a kitchen as we like to have milk, eggs and juices stored in the refrigerator. We brought our own tea, sugar, coffee and a few dishwasher pods and laundry pods. The only inconvenience we had was due to being a weekend and Easter holiday, tissue paper and trash bags were not replenished right away, they should have already stored these necessities for the duration of our stay (8 days) and not to have us request these via email.

A little off the 'tourist' route, but all the better for it. Short walk into the city center. Very modern building and interior decor. Door entry access worked really well, 24hr reception is via telephone and they were very helpful and answered straight away when we lost our access codes. wifi was down for our 2 night stay, but they sent an engineer over immediately to fix.

Everything was as advertised. Walking distance from old Vienna.

Place is good for price and easy to check in with key box. It is in safe area and some restaurants right down the street with canal near by. Negatives are the washer and apparently no dryer or no access. Also, there is a $34 dollar cleaning fee for when after you leave.

Nov air conditioning in room so too hot, even with windows open. Bed uneven. Did not look like photo on Web. Wifi was good.
