Wombat's City Hostel Vienna Naschmarkt

We stayed in a private twin room, it was spacious, clean and had a nice view of the market square, we had no complaints! The hostel overall had a great atmosphere and provided lots of information about what to do around the city, and staff were very helpful.

This is the nicest, cleanest, most quiet and comfortable hostel we have stayed in. The rooms are newly relocated with new beds and mattresses. The staff was very friendly and super helpful with helping us with parking. Extremely convenient location.

We are older than your average Hostellers but we were attracted to the location and price and vibe. It didn't disappoint on these. Our only issue was our room was located next to fire doors with lots of traffic all night banging the doors each time. We did change room to a slightly less noisy end but also next to a set of fire doors. The Bar and Breakfast and coffee and kitchen areas were great as was the staff.

Great central location and close to the city centre

Right in the midst of all activities. Can walk to all the tourist spots. Subway ride is just as convenient.

Great choice for this solo traveller - stayed in the female dorm Rm 425 which is huge. Super clean, comfortable beds. Great location as very walkable to most sights eg 20 min to Kunsthistoriche Museum, similar to the Belvedere. Guest kitchen was clean with space in the fridge (they’re gd at throwing stuff out so do label your food properly), and just enough crockery to cook stuff. Buy your own oil and pepper (there was free salt when I was there). There’s a supermarket (Hofer aka Aldi) literally next door plus another one (Billa) which is bigger a few doors down. I was lucky that I checked in late and left early so I didn’t need to pay to store my luggage - they have lockers for any left luggage which seems to be the main grumble that I heard. Overall, I’m very glad to have stayed here and would heartily recommend it to others.

The room is enough big to share with 8 persons together and the staffs were very kindly to help the staying more comfortable.

Right next to the market and subway. Perfect location. Clean and friendly. Convenience store next door.

Hostel was central and clean. We had a 4 bed room for our family. Would have given a higher review if there was Aircon. The heat in the room was unbearable. Breakfast not good just go to Aldi next door.

My experince at the hostel was pretty good. Staff are nice and the hostel is clean. The only thing is that the luggage lockers are a little expensive.

Wow! what a nice hostel, has everything you could possibly need when staying in Vienna, within walking distance of everything, has a wonderfully equipt kitchen, large dining room, comfortable rooms with en suite bathroom. Loved!

WIFI isn’t accessible in rooms.

I stayed in an all-female 6 bed dorm. Probably one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. The staff was well informed and efficient, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and I especially liked the lockers that that were activated by your room key. Well connected by bus and metro (15min from center approx), and lots of good food around.
