BnB Boat

This was such a special place to stay, very quirky and we loved it! Great location, ideal for walking into the city. The room was spacious and comfortable. We arrived late and the owner was really good about it. And the breakfast hamper...! Fantastic, we certainly didn't go hungry! Gent is a beautiful place, very friendly, and staying on the boat made the short holiday even more memorable. Thank you 😄

Nicely renovated freight ship near the city centre of Ghent. Friendly owner, who lives in the larger part of the ship. The guest room is at the very front and includes a bedroom with small shower and toilet area. Nicely constructed in the boat's nose. A large round bed in the centre. Upstairs a small living room with a bar type of place to sit and eat breakfast. Good fridge and coffee machine available. View is nice all around and streets are quiet. Small privat terras on the roof for guests. The disadvantage was a snorting sound of the dehumidity machine which keeps blowing all night. And no curtains, so early light. Breakfast time to be agreed with the host. A place to hang your coat is also missing. Not suitable for handicapped or too large people ...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the charming bed & breakfast boat in Ghent, and it was absolutely wonderful. Whether you're a solo traveler seeking a unique experience or a couple looking for a romantic getaway, this bed & breakfast boat in Ghent is an absolute gem. I can't wait to return and create more wonderful memories in this idyllic setting.

Really enjoyed our stay. Location seemed just right as it was a short walk to the main part of town. The rooms were a little small but what do you expect on a boat? Breakfast was very nice and it was a comfortable enough sleep.

Really fun alternative to boring hotels. Maartin was lovely and helpful. The rooms were fab and made all the more exciting for being in a big boat. Every morning we'd get a breakfast hamper delivered to our front door which was yum. There was one, minor issue, but this was quickly, professionally and sensitively dealt with by Maartin. A lovely stay and one that we shall be repeating.
